  1. Interception. That's about it. Maye is a likeable kid so I'm more indifferent to the Patriots now. I'm just glad not to see the combination of Sean Payton and the Broncos in another Super Bowl.
  2. Pretty rare that you're going to be in a playoff game where the score is 10-7 late in the fourth.
  3. History has shown time and time again you don't need the #1 pick to get your QB. The trade was all about Tepper's arrogance and needing to be in the news cycle.
  4. In near blizzard conditions just go for it. Especially the way Maye has been running.
  5. Flea flicker and they ran it to perfection oy vey
  6. Yeah tumbling down the draft board certainly isn't ideal but this is where a guy like Tillis should come in and earn his money. Between the two of them and all this time and money we've put into PFF if they can't get it done we're boned anyways.
  7. This thread has been on the first page for nearly an entire week now and simultaneously you've got folks bumping years old Darnold threads and swearing it isn't about Bryce lol.
  8. I hear you. I'm just hoping that we can fill in the roster more for a better balance and still find our way back to the playoffs somehow. Gotta start with nailing this upcoming draft. This offseason will make or break Dan Morgan.
  9. Comparatively Teddy Bridgewater is basically the best QB we've started in 6 years. And that was with Matt Rhule whom everyone agrees was a trashcan and a conman. The consistent theme under the ownership of the Tepper's has been us hiring bad coaches and largely making bad personnel decisions. You pretending like you didn't bump this with the intent of carrying water for your guy in some capacity is just ridiculous. Cmon.
  10. That's valid. Then you've got the Tepper's in the mix. I agree with you. Too many cooks in the kitchen either way. Let's hope we nail this upcoming draft. Looking at the division around us trending upward the stakes are very high. Certainly can't count on luck again with the 2026 opponents.
  11. Maybe but if it's the Broncos you can never rule out the impact of the refs.
  12. To be honest with you. And I like Horn on a personal level. The prevailing reason he is a Panther is because he played for South Carolina. We've done this multiple times now coveting players because of their local ties. We seem to prioritize this.
  13. I despise him but Sean Payton is certainly a good offensive mind and he can get results out of some seriously mediocre QB's.
  14. @TrevorLaurenceTime22 As if you aren't intimately familiar with everyone here
  15. Well that first Broncos drive came and went in an instant. What a shame.
  16. The poster who bumped the thread has gone out of his way to be vocally defensive of Bryce Young for years. Try to keep up or don't quote me.
  17. You bumped a thread from 4 years ago about throwing downfield but this isn't about Bryce Young....
  18. Priorities ILB - High draft pick and FA signing Edge - Veteran FA signing C - Draft pick or FA. We cannot let our depth at the position return to days of yesteryear with Bryce Young at QB. It will end terribly. TE - FA signing As far as backup QB's go I think we should all prepare for the QB room to be kept largely intact. I don't like it or agree with it but that's the likely outcome.
  19. One QB has led teams to 14 wins and 15 wins in consecutive seasons and an actual human being is arguing a QB who was swept by the rebuilding Saints led by a rookie 2nd round pick is more clutch.
  20. Also. For all the criticism of Teddy Bridgewater being a checkdown king and rarely throwing downfield he was 15th in yards per attempt the one season he played here. Compare that to Bryce who just finished the season 30th in yards per attempt.
  21. lol @ bumping this thread thinking it's some kind of gotcha. Nobody ever doubted Darnold's physical abilities as a passer. Legitimately that throw that Sam Darnold made from his own end zone at the end of the game against the Vikings to Ian Thomas of all people is as good or better than any throw Bryce Young has made in his career so far.
  22. What has become of Xavier Legette and Jonathan Brooks today in not only the same draft but in rounds 1 and 2 (and traded UP for both) is difficult to overlook with the current needs we have across the roster present day. Makes the shoe shining for the FO some insist on even more bewildering.
