  1. Best thing I can say about the Hornets currently is we do have more promising young talent in the event of Ball or Miller missing games. But the culture remains the problem. When the leaders of the team are quick to take games off eventually that is going to translate to the rest of the roster even the younger guys. What's their incentive to keep grinding you know? Anywho. We lost to the winless Pelicans last night. Doesn't get any lower than that.
  2. Are you insinuating we haven't gotten blown out while Bryce was starting? https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401547629/panthers-jaguars
  3. Then you should know what the huddle looked like through the Jake years. It was not sunshine and rainbows I assure you. If and when the team can string together consistent competitive football games the rest of the season and not get completely blown out again then you will see less negativity. If the team can somehow compete for the division which we haven't done in many many years then you will absolutely see more positivity. But that's a tall order. Right now we're on a 1 game win streak. That's the best we can say.
  4. This is not even scratching the surface of how toxic broader social media is. Don't you frequent Twitter? No shameless grifting here. We had a big upset win the week after we got taken to the woodshed by the Bills and our offense was largely willed by another historic perfomance from a running back we signed in free agency. I mean if you expect nothing but people doing cartwheels and having parties you're probably just not built for this team. The biggest thing in the back of everyone's mind even if they won't admit it right now is this is still the Carolina Panthers and even when they play well we're still left waiting to wonder when not if they will lay another egg. If you lived through the Jake Delhomme era this shouldn't have to be explained.

  6. You've largely served as a key source of Bryce Young propaganda so certainly no one here expects you to acknowledge difficult truths. Hope things go well for you on your next lengthy hiatus we all know you'll be taking soon. God forbid you actually show up when things aren't going well.
  7. Cam Newton was a rookie of the year and MVP and had one of the best arms in the NFL in his prime. He passed the eye test in spades. It is unbelievably comical that you chastise me for mentioning Bryce has similarities to Clausen and then you just invoke Cam Newton like that makes any sense to a rational observer whatsoever. Even Cam Newton with his questionable at times accuracy is a whole world away from where we are now with a #1 pick 38 games into his career being amongst the bottom in the league in multiple key statistical metrics.
  8. Considering the circumstances TMac has been very impressive for a guy only 9 games into his career. I'm unsure about the TE room but at least we have young players we are trying to develop instead of just trotting out guys like Ian Thomas. There will be ups and downs but let the development continue. That's all I've asked for this season. Anything else is a bonus.
  9. Yards per play they are comparable. And that's a rookie Jimmy Clausen while Bryce is 38 games deep. The only difference is Bryce Young has decent legs. You don't have to like it. But it's reality.

  11. LaMelo Ball out for tonight's game against the Pelicans. So far nothing has changed with our two best players availability very early in the season. Sad.
  12. If it works great. But they are just one game removed from getting the doors blown off at home.
  13. Bryce Young career passing yards per attempt: 5.8 Bryce Young passing yards per game in his third season as a starter: 173.8 Jimmy Clausen career passing yards per attempt: 5.3 Jimmy Clausen average passing yards per game in 2010: 119.8 He's a high end Jimmy Clausen it is what it is man. His yards per play within an offense that relies on others are within the same threshold. You can win some games with him when everything is going right and other moving parts are carrying the burden. But that is not worthy of a #1 pick and you absolutely have to keep looking.
  14. Bryce Young is not Jake Delhomme. In any capacity. They don't belong in the same conversation. If Bryce is in line with any Panthers QB it's Jimmy Clausen.
  15. You keep on acting like the police if it makes you feel better bub. We'll be right here like we always have.
  16. It's the fickle ones who always have the most to say about what they think a fan should or shouldn't be. Comical.
  17. For people like FreeFua and others every single player on the Panthers roster exists solely to eventually be a scapegoat for Bryce Young. You would think this kid was one of the 5 best QB's in the NFL three years in a row and not consistently amongst the worst in many statistical metrics.

  19. That thing was wobbling like someone put a tire on their car and didn't tighten the lug nuts all the way. Wind has nothing to do with it.
  20. Well odds are high it's what Dan Morgan is going to do so you might as well begin preparing now. If you guys think Morgan refused to bring in any legitimate competition for Bryce Young two years in a row because he doesn't believe in him and didn't want to draft him you're in for a rude awakening.
  21. You've been complaining about the huddle nonstop for the last 2 months. Nobody said anything directly to Juan or was bothered by him creating the thread. The subject within was what was addressed. You and you alone were the first one to enter the thread and create a settling scores atmosphere stemming from whatever interactions you had in previous threads from however long ago. Icege has already played out this song and dance of constantly griping about negativity while eagerly being toxic to others. It results in nothing but a yawn and an eye roll.
  22. This is nonsense and you know it. Any time there has been a major trade for this team discussed it's become a conversation encompassing a full picture of our needs and our circumstances including other positions because none of these things just happen in a vacuum and it affects other areas. Furthermore just trading for players to trade for them is what Scott Fitterer did and we see how that worked out. Anything else you're rambling about is just your compulsive need to defend Bryce Young like you birthed him. I do not care that it hurts your feelings. Embrace the conversation that is not going away now or ever as long as he is here or log out.
  23. At this point unless Bryce Young finishes the season playing horrendously bad he's likely back on the 5th year option at the least. This is backed up by the actions of the FO as they have doubled and tripled down. Which is assuredly from the Tepper's. All we can do is hope that this time they will actually push him with real competition.
