The officiating was certainly bad. Still. Our offense sat on 7 points for the bulk of the game. I am tired of having one of the most ineffective offenses in the league.

We've already been down the scapegoat road with Frank Reich. We fired basically the entire staff and started from scratch. Invested vast resources in the OL and WR. There is simply no excuse to both get swept by the Saints and lose in embarrassing fashion in the final two games of the season with huge divisonal and playoff implications. And yes this is all a damning reflection on Dave Canales too. But there should be absolutely no possibility of firing yet another head coach and keeping Bryce. If one goes both go. Rip the bandaid off and start fresh.

Man you're shooting from the hip with post after post giving Bryce the benefit of the doubt. Nobody has said we lost the game solely because of him. But Bryce has had two chances to come up big against Seattle and against Tampa Bay today and for nearly 4 full quarters he led the offense to 7 points. And last week he had barely over 50 passing yards for an entire game. He is what he is. Backup quality.

Bryce was still throwing behind the line of scrimmage late in the game. These jabronis that line up to carry his water are pitiful. And yes Dave Canales can hit the road too. We should leave no stone unturned in addressing both QB and HC in the offseason. Go for a clean slate.

No point arguing who is the worst. All anyone needs to know is that he isn't the guy. When he finally throws "downfield" it's usually a 20 yard pass and everyone that watches the Panthers regularly responds as if they just saw a UFO. Time for some new life in this QB room.

While this outcome stings ultimately it is for the best that both Bryce and Canales get exposed here and now versus the inevitable top to bottom ass whooping we would have certainly gotten in the playoffs.

Every time I watch a Panthers game and see him lined up behind center with the physique of a middle school quarterback I find myself marveling at how our decision makers thought this was a slam dunk.
