Yep, but yet we lose any game where the other team scores more than 19. In today's NFL where everything is geared in favor of the offense, you need to put points on the board, bottom line. The defense is the only reason we were in any of the games this year and last. Last week they were on the field for 41 minutes. No defense can be expected to keep it up at that rate. I would be curious how much time they spent on the field on the average last year.

I heard it is a combination of all of our previous coaches coming back to form a staff. John Fox said we don't' run enough on 3rd and long. I hear Herm Edwards is available lol.

Where was the defense ranked last season. I don't think defense seems to be the problem. The fact that we cannot score any points is the problem.

Say what you want about the team should have handled business etc. The average margin of victory in the league is very slim and the refs absolutely screwed the pooch on the roughing the passer gifting them 15 yards and then the fake spike.

We also actually called some running plays and kept the defense honest.

Why did we not run the ball at all in the first half McCaffrey or other. If Forman can't run the damn ball let's get someone who can. Every other team seems to be able to get 2 capable running backs. It was weird play calling that put our o-line on their heels the entire first half. And if the ball is getting batted every play how about we move the pocket. Baker is pretty good at throwing on the roll out.

Says they are using CM too much and then says Ron was a better coach. Clearly you did not watch how much CM was "used" under Rivera. He would have him steady running the ball at the end of games that were clearly in hand. I said back then they are going to ruin him. I lay all of CM's health issues squarely at Ron's feet.

As a USC fan I watched Shi's entire college career. I've seen a lot of shade thrown on him here, but have just waited to see what would happen with his legal issues. He is an explosive player with very good quickness and the ability to make people miss. I think he can be a very versatile player for this offense Brandon Smith Tae Hayes

Can blame a lot of things on Rhule, but he is not the one that kept handing the ball off the McCaffrey when games were over that would be his predecessor.

He in lies the the difference between terrible, good and great with NFL quarterbacks. We have seen it time and time again over the years. We've seen guys with incredible arms tank and we've seen guys with so so arms become great by their ability to process what they are seeing and make great plays.

I just don't have that much of my emotional makeup invested in a sports team. I hope they do well, but at the end of the day I do not get angry and let a football game ruin my day. They certainly frustrate me when I am watching, but once the game is over I move on and if they are getting destroyed I just move on to another game or go do something else.

Typical overreaction at this point. If somehow this team wins the first 4 games these same types of fans will say we are superbowl bound. Not sayin Tepper is a good or bad owner it is just way to early to know how this will play out. Of course fans are not really know for rational thought most of the time as is evidenced daily here by the constant overreactions.
