Some stats that may tell the story Sunday.
cardiackat88. replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
You forgot to mention that they were apparently down to 3rd string players on both sides of the ball minus Jameis and Kamara. Oh, and Sean Peyton was the only coach available on all of Louisiana who didn't have the Roni -
The Panthers Progress (from this era to the next)
cardiackat88. replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
There are pages and pages and pages of threads full of people who cannot seem to grasp this concept. All of the capitol would have went to him, and he would be crying on twitter again within 3 years after taking a Newton-esque beating. All the while having no money to pay anyone worth a damn and giving up a TON of talent initially. It would have wrecked with franchise without a doubt. -
I still want to see Weird Al doing a halftime show with a lot of well-known songs with the parody's based on football, with focus on specific things that happened with each team historically and within that season.

Great, the Illuminati have taken over the halftime shows again

If Marty was still the GM we would have

Traded the farm away for Zach Wilson? -
What does the Henderson trade mean for Donte and Jaycee?
cardiackat88. replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Indeed, I have said this repeatedly. Both are like grade "B" players and have their moments but don't really seem like the kind of guys you want to commit to long-term, especially for a high price investment into the next few years. Even more so when they have been mediocre their whole careers then put up big during contract years. -

You are like, jaded by years of AWFUL GMs. I am thinking Fitty will wheel and deal him for something, no way he just walks. -
Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!
cardiackat88. replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have said this exact same thing in more than one post (comparing him and Samuel). Hopefully, we get SOMETHING though if this is the case. We finally have a competent GM and its still really hard to get used to having good deals. -
Keep this fact drilled in your mind...

AZ is annually extremely overated. They look good at times and then look unusually god awful. Then when they are awful, they get defended all to hell. THEN wind up 7-9 (I guess 8-9 this year) at best, while still being defended as a "potential powerhouse" team. -
Someone had a really awesome (possibly bong hit) idea about Tepper paying Fuchs to play kicker for the Panthers at a ridiculously high pay rate to cross-promote both teams.

I'm pretty sure both CMC and Horns injuries are due to new field

Deshaun Watson (horny) not expected to start next week -
CMC Injury Update: "Less than grade 1" hamstring strain
cardiackat88. replied to shaka's topic in Carolina Panthers
I said it in an early post, but I’m pretty sure they just sat him after the first sign of any injury. The injury may be very minor but he’s taken out of the game to prevent worse injury. -
Christian McCaffrey Injury- Doctor Explains
cardiackat88. replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have a feeling it was just a very minor tweak, but the coaching staff took him out of the game just to be over cautious. -
I can't see Wilson without seeing Clausen, he reminds me so much of pickles.

Week 1 Post Script: Zach Wilson injured
cardiackat88. replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think so. Just imagine how bad pickles would have done if he had actually been the starter (and played his first game ever) instead Wilson when we played them. -

I can't see him without seeing Jimmy Clausen. I know he's already better than teh Jimmy but he reminds me so much of him cosmetically. -
But but but they've only played the Jets and the Saints where down to their 4th string practice squad and Sean Payton was the only coach in all of Louisiana that didn't have the roni

Dear Brittany Renner, stay the hell away from our team

I saw this thread in the side comments and thought it was PJ Walker everyone was talking about lol -
There was some dumb Facebook article written yesterday that listed 4 surprising teams on the rise. One of these teams was the Saints, and the Panthers were not on the list. I made a comment about the whooping the Panthers gave the Saints and a bunch of Aints fans ganged up on me "they didn't even have coaches, the next meeting will be sad" "most of the team was out, the Panthers played scrubs" As if the coaches are out there playing the game, and who all was missing? Squidward "Micheal" Thomas, that one CB I always forget his name, and maybe like some DL?

OH! BTW - the AR / Mixed Reality / CGI Panther was AWESOME!

When and if they do (did you know when and if are the same word in German, "wann") I really REALLY want to see individual panthers attacking each opposing player on the field. Kickoff teams would be a great time for this. -
I like that one idea thrown out about Tepperman paying a pro soccer player a shitload of money and cross-advertising/expanding both brands. He has already pioneered the mixed reality Panther.

I love the fact that its being talked about a lot, and it was pioneered by none other than OUR Carolina Panthers! -
I distinctly remember watching a Duke vs ECU game as a kid learning about football and wondering what the fug was going on
