  1. Young is special. I believe both of those guys will be good pro QBs. If it’s AR, I might take a hostage.
  2. I would think if they loved one QB over another, they would have traded up with Chicago.
  3. If they decide they prefer one of the other QBs, they are the one in the tough position...not the trading team. I'd try to offer them our two second round picks and maybe a third for next year. If we weren't going to trade Burns for what LA was offering, then we shouldn't do it now for one player.
  4. I'm honestly not even wasting my time with mock drafts this year, because I think the top five draft order will dramatically change. Why get worked up over who this guy has up picking at 9 when we really might not even be picking there? And I'm a guy that usually spends WAY too much time on mock drafts. A friend and I even go back and forth doing every-other-pick (seven rounds) on google sheets the week before the draft.
  5. He's a legitimate pro prospect! I watched closely this season to see if he was just a system guy, but he can definitely make NFL throws. I'm just not sure if I believe that he'll be 100% by training camp. His sister is his business manager, and she handles NIL deals for another Tennessee QB, so I've worked with her a lot. In talking with her after the season, it sounded like he'd have to miss most of the next year.
  6. If we can’t get Young or Stroud, we should trade for Lance. I believe Trey Lance has potential to be an elite QB in the league.
  7. I say if you can't trade up for Stroud or Young, draft BPA at 9 and trade a 3rd for Trey Lance.
  8. This is what I'd offer, as well. Trouble is, someone else will have a better offer for that spot. I've got a feeling Indy will end up picking first. Our best bet is probably trading to pick #3.
  9. I actually knew him pretty well when he was in college. Played beer pong against him about a dozen times. When he was OC in Detroit, I thought he was next up to get a HC job, but that never happened.
  10. I realize Fields rushed more, but that's a lot more sacks that he took.
  11. While I really wanted to see Wilks get the job, this is probably the smartest/safest move to make with the options we had available. I'm just so glad I don't have to force myself to try and like Sean Payton. Let's go Coach Reich!!
  12. It’s probably unfair, but I’ve never liked Carr. Even when he’s winning games, I’ve always thought he was mediocre, at best. Do Not Want!!
  13. How is it possible to speak intelligently about who they like before a head coach has been hired?
  14. I still say Wilks is the best candidate. With a full offseason, I think he could do enough to change this team's culture that we'd be in real playoff contention as early as next season. Why all the Johnson love? He's got one season of play-calling experience, and even that play-calling couldn't score many points against the Panthers.
  15. I don't think they're giving up on the guy quite yet. They just NEED to win to get into the playoffs. Dobbs is a lot more capable of doing that right now. I thought he played really well last night, for his first ever start.
  16. I’ve got the airbrush style hat that was released before their first season. I have it displayed in my office now. Not a lot of Panthers fans here, so I like to display my team…and that I’ve followed them since ‘94.
  17. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!! What is there to like about Will Levis? I wouldn’t want draft him until Saturday. Like, Saturday afternoon!
  18. As good as he was on the field, he’s an even better dude. This one really hurts! He will be missed. As for his draft stock, he wasn’t going to be a starter in the league next year, anyway. I think he should still be considered in the 3rd.
