  1. My son is going through confirmation at our church, and the ceremony is TONIGHT at 7pm. There's no way I'll be home by 8pm, so I might have to dvr it and catch up about 30 minutes after the pick. This shouldn't be a big deal, but I'm really upset about it!
  2. Can you imagine Peyton's actual head on Bryce's body? That'd be like a blow pop.
  3. I remember Gross losing weight just like this as soon as he was done playing. I’d like to see what their in-season diet looks like.
  4. I've been adamant about Young being my guy, but I think I might be close to changing my mind.
  5. Be glad. My son is 13 and I couldn’t pay him to watch a full football game with me.
  6. Sounds like what we'd like Houston to believe so they'll trade up with us. If they think we're fine with Richardson at pick 4, then they might believe we're actually wiling to trade with Indy. I don't think we are. I think Houston is our only trade target and we want them to come up just to block the Colts from getting their guy. Stroud is going to be our QB, whether we take him at 1 or 2.
  7. Young is special. I believe both of those guys will be good pro QBs. If it’s AR, I might take a hostage.
  8. I would think if they loved one QB over another, they would have traded up with Chicago.
  9. If they decide they prefer one of the other QBs, they are the one in the tough position...not the trading team. I'd try to offer them our two second round picks and maybe a third for next year. If we weren't going to trade Burns for what LA was offering, then we shouldn't do it now for one player.
  10. I'm honestly not even wasting my time with mock drafts this year, because I think the top five draft order will dramatically change. Why get worked up over who this guy has up picking at 9 when we really might not even be picking there? And I'm a guy that usually spends WAY too much time on mock drafts. A friend and I even go back and forth doing every-other-pick (seven rounds) on google sheets the week before the draft.
  11. He's a legitimate pro prospect! I watched closely this season to see if he was just a system guy, but he can definitely make NFL throws. I'm just not sure if I believe that he'll be 100% by training camp. His sister is his business manager, and she handles NIL deals for another Tennessee QB, so I've worked with her a lot. In talking with her after the season, it sounded like he'd have to miss most of the next year.
  12. If we can’t get Young or Stroud, we should trade for Lance. I believe Trey Lance has potential to be an elite QB in the league.
  13. I say if you can't trade up for Stroud or Young, draft BPA at 9 and trade a 3rd for Trey Lance.
  14. This is what I'd offer, as well. Trouble is, someone else will have a better offer for that spot. I've got a feeling Indy will end up picking first. Our best bet is probably trading to pick #3.
  15. I actually knew him pretty well when he was in college. Played beer pong against him about a dozen times. When he was OC in Detroit, I thought he was next up to get a HC job, but that never happened.
  16. I realize Fields rushed more, but that's a lot more sacks that he took.
  17. While I really wanted to see Wilks get the job, this is probably the smartest/safest move to make with the options we had available. I'm just so glad I don't have to force myself to try and like Sean Payton. Let's go Coach Reich!!
  18. It’s probably unfair, but I’ve never liked Carr. Even when he’s winning games, I’ve always thought he was mediocre, at best. Do Not Want!!
