  1. Tell me again about the personnel philosophy of your favorite coach in NE?
  2. People are treating the Patriots like they are world beaters they aren’t they have some nice, young pieces. they have a world class coach expect Bellinchek and his coaches to go to short passes, misdirection, reverses, letting the panthers defense rush and throw were they are not to use the Panthers aggression against them Extremely important Panthers maintain gap integrity and hold the edge expect Rhule to run even more and ask PJ to scramble and throw it away vs crazy ass throws creating turnovers pj plays way way too fast he is also small so hopefully he understands sliding and getting out of bounds Bottom line. the defense will be ok The two questions in this game are 1 can the panthers oline repeat last week against a better coached team and film on how they use the running schemes 2 can Rhule and coaches adjustments hold against Bellinchek’s one thing that concerns me is the personnel groupings all but spell out what the offense is going to do The question then becomes can the Panthers still execute anyway or are they smart enough to change it up I don’t the answers I hope for a Panthers win
  3. Well now, I guess it’s step up time for the backups and the coaches honestly, mccaffrey is becoming an urban myth
  4. I’m hoping the defense comes to play shut that running game down and come after Jones, you know the QB the Panthers weren’t high on they should certainly be able to stop and they coached him on walker, he is much too small to take any hits I mean he looks like high school jv out there He also plays much too fast I don’t think he has ever read more than one look since I’ve watched him his best asset is he played for Rhule lol bur hey, backups win now and again …why not him
  5. …and then, one of our rushers get hurt, a d viola, there goes another draft choice for another rusher I don’t know. Sometimes, just leave it alone
  6. God, let’s hope Rhule isn’t that stupid as a NFL Coach …losing, not a good look particularly at home
  7. What do I know ? Don’t lose at home Want attendance and enthusiasm, don’t look like a walking, talking pile of pig poo at the home stadium if it’s PJ, coach him up, send him out there, even if he is some crazied, energizer bunny on speed
  8. Yes, I did However, Truth is, nfl guys like guys who help them win but also guys that help them meet their individual incentives in Their contracts and that just a fact of life Got to be able to consistently throw the ball at the nfl level, no matter what We can’t go back to a single wedge because of Sam’s propensity to turnover the ball It would be great in all ways if he lives up to his potential and we can laugh about all of this and say ‘I was wrong’. I’d love to do that.
  9. Time will tell im not happy he was the choice and some of that goes to the preponderance of bad qb decisions before him, some is his history, and some is the general let down of going from a superstar to someone who is far less in stature he seemed to read the defense very well yesterday. He made plays with his feet, he didn’t pout over being benched, he went about his business, by all accounts his team mates like him I guess, the bottom line to me is, he is here until he isn’t so at this point, I’m making the best of it. If that means multiple shots of Jim beam fire when he and Brady and the oline and the receivers screw the pooch, so be it it might not fix anything but I’ll feel better about it
  10. I’ll say this, if Blaine Gabbert has a job in the nfl, so can Sam.
  11. Any given Sunday…, too, if we can’t go, if we stop one of the others, it’s a win ….keep New Orleans at home is a pretty good consolation prize
  12. The thought of PJ playing against a Bellinchek defense Jesus. Take the wheel
  13. Well, if they can be enough effective to have the threat of running, that helps play action, and that helps a poor line and a shaky QB, buy a second or two and in today’s NFL, that second or two is huge
  14. I would to hate to see it, more for Cam then any Panthers fans’ feelings love the man but he needs to retire. Gotta be hard to still be young, top, athlete and have a shoulder that can’t function he doesn't need to be punch drunk at 50 either and he may very well be with the head shots he has taken
  15. florio said they took Winston to the hospital during the game for mri said results were significant injury
  16. The team won today. they did the best they could with what they have they haven’t won in a month let’s be happy for the players and fans
  17. To be fair, every Fortune 500 business is like this. I worked for a top company in IT they would lay a person off for any reason if they could find someone cheaper, not better, cheaper God forbid, a person get a long term, illness. They didn’t care if you worked sick or holidays or through family illnesses It is a tough world out there, and contrary to what modern athletes think, it is for most at a hundredth of what athletes make
  18. It was a step he had to take and he took it with a woeful oline and receivers that, couldn’t catch a cold he also checked out of calls, it appeared, into proper play all against the defense I give Sam a lot of credit today aNd yes it was the Falcons and yes, the Panthers ran a lot but they got a W. The Defense got a W The special, tea,s got a W lets, hope he recovers as concussions are no joke and let’s just be happy for a W today. It’s been a month.
  19. Glad for him today he played with guts and in the nfl, have to have that god speed on healing from concussion
