  1. This is a tough one to digest. I do think they probably locked in for practice this week, feeling themselves a bit and sensing an opportunity to build on the Atlanta game. Then boom, punched straight in the mouth and reminded forcefully of your place on the totem pole. Carolina has no identity, no attitude and certainly no resilience. This all starts at the most important position in pro sports, the Quarterback. Week after week, sound bite after sound bite, this will be the tale until BY9 is gone.
  2. Shadeur is a lightning rod that was unable to secure a backup role at Cleveland. Why should we roll the dice on him vs someone like Hooker who's already on the roster? Who cares about media rep?
  3. **Opinion alert, this is just my opinion** I think the Panther's are broken at the talent evaluation level. The most fundamental skill an organization must have. I think this is what plagues organizations and blesses others. Everything has to start with getting better talent in the building. Without that you simply can't make a solid assessment on anything downstream so eventually everything gets churned and the problems recycle. It seems plain as day to me though, if you look at the team since Tepper our talent level has dropped every year which is somewhat insane. We only accidentally hit on draft picks nowadays and have to try to spend our way to competitiveness on talent other teams drafted and developed. There is no better mascot for this joke than Bryce Young. This is all to say there is no fixing the Panthers until you fix talent evaluation.
  4. Sorry there is nothing. Tepper is a man who collects toys and he doesn't need the money. He can get more of that easily, there are only 32 NFL teams.
  5. He has established an identity, just not the one he hoped for. Our identity is D.O.O.R.M.A.T. Disappointing Outrageous Overwhelming Regrettable Malfunction Annual Tradition
  6. That game was an anomaly. The Falcons did everything wrong and Pennix had one of his worst outings. Things just aligned in a way that the final score didn't really tell the story. We were outplayed in most regards. With that said, it was nice to see us not make any glaring errors and take advantage of mistakes. The team look prepared. Looking back from this week though it's painfully obvious they got to hide Bryce against the Falcons and that was probably the best upgrade you could give the team.
  7. The attitude of the team is going to dictate otherwise. In my mind there's no question BY9 was benched last year to save the locker room. Signs are already pointing that direction again. Cannales can act like this is his choice but it's really the team's choice. If they quit on Bryce then it's over.
  8. Respect to our backfield. Hubbard and Dowdle are a nice one/two.
  9. fug You David Tepper You poo on Cam - fug You You poo on CMC - fug You You poo on DJ Moore - fug You You poo on many more..you poo on cities, you poo on contractors and families, you poo on fans. You are poo. fug You You poo on the entire team - fug You You poo on the grass - fug You You poo on the draft - fug You You ruined football for a region - fug you
  10. Bryce was awful today. He has the worst physical attributes at the position in the entire league, that isn't contested by anyone. The only reason you keep trotting out an inferior athlete is because he's above average at the other qualities the position demands. You tell me what those are at this point? What does Bryce bring to the table to justify overlooking his obvious limitations?
  11. What does that have to do with why he got one with us. We could have hired any thin resumed bum but we hired the thin resume bum we did because it was thought he could do straighten out Bryce the way he supposedly straightened out Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. I'm not debating that we had limited options, that's certainly part of it.
  12. Bryce Young’s career…The turning point Not opening up against Atlanta in the second half.
  13. If Lizzy Cannales could talk I’d be real interested in what she had to say.
  14. He got a job for “turning” Baker around, in reality Baker was actually just a damn decent QB.
  15. Bryce had three drives that mattered in that game. The first two which resulted in turnovers and made it a multi score deficit and the last drive which was as ugly and as incompetent as it could be. Everything in between was basic soft strategic concession by the Cardinals. They almost played too loose and flirted with concern, so they locked in one last time and made BY9 look like a bum despite multiple friendly whistles.
  16. I was never onboard with Morgan to begin with. The dude always seemed a hammer short of a full tool bag, maybe too many concussions. He was a Fitterer hold over and I thought he should have been gone when Fitts went. He literally made it to NFL GM with no credentials to speak of other than a playing career. Shorts stints of personnel management for the Seahawks and Bills, neither organization choosing promotion or retention. I believe Morgan was added as a friendly face to sooth a fanbase that was growing to hate Tepper and probably retained for the same reason. Morgan never coached, had minimal front office experience and the GM he "assisted" was deservedly fired. From what I can find online he received a BA in Liberal Arts from Miami so that isn't exactly a qualification either.
  17. The refs tried their damndest to hand us the Arizona game. It's worth consideration that likely every single team has us circled as a win.
  18. They will um look at the um tape and um um you know just get back to um work. We just gotta um be better and um protect the um ball.
  19. Bryce now has a 6-26 record. What else is there to discuss really?
  20. We just got drug by the 4 win, new coaching staff Jags 26-10... a non competitive game. That's a pretty straight forward stat.
  21. Arizona could be his last game realistically. Another multi-turnover loss is going to be tough to keep trotting him out. Dave made the move to protect the locker room last year. Seeing the videos of BY9 isolating from the team on the field and bench in TV breaks has those some vibes. Watch his teammates, their attitude towards Bryce is the tell.
