    Just ride with Bryce and see what you’ve got (or not got). If he isn’t it, then start looking for the next guy. The answer will not be on the roster this season.

    It could be nothing… But it’s probably something. Maybe they figure Bryce is already proficient in the two yard passing game and can practice getting up from a sack in week one. That said, he doesn’t need the reps. If they’re gonna be stupid, they might as well be smart about it.

    So they’re saying Bryce could be good but might not be and we will need to wait to see. There’s a new spin on things.

    This seems to fit with Peppers and his personality. . Reminds me of something Kurt Vonnegut told a group of elementary kids. Something to the effect of practice an art no matter how good or bad you are and not for fortune or fame. It helps grow your soul. Good for Peppers.

    My opinion is a mixture of both. Support Bryce and the team but know that if he is bad then you are in a position to move on. I think that is logically where we are at this point.

    One comment stood out to me “on Sundays when 60,000 people are watching” If the team is like last year I don’t think this is accurrate.

    Only possible reason I can think of is Cam’s wedding attire would overshadow any bride. Not intentionally but it would overshadow all the same.

    The team is built to excel and achieve mediocrity (6-7ish wins and competitive in a few more) if you have a viable QB. If u don’t have a viable qb you will find out soon, the team will flounder and the organization will act accordingly. I hope… not bashing Bryce and not trying to coddle him. Just speaking my opinion.

    Steve Smith in his prime would have ruined many players on last year's team. Not throwing shade at Smitty but he would have made grown men cry. Expects more than mediocrity and that Panther team was well south of that. Doesn't seem to be the kinda guy to hold things in.

    I think 6 or 7 wins would be considered a successful season and something to build on.
