  1. I think both. But I believe Sam is just done. He was in a fragile state to begin with and then he was put behind some well oiled turnstiles in hopes of a change in scenery would make him better. Not happening. If he wasn’t beaten and done before getting here, he is now. Not sure how Cam will make out but the opponents DL has its ears pinned back bo matter who is behind center.
  2. Truth. Duke was a bust, bout still love me some Smokey.
  3. Two wrongs don’t make a right but 3 lefts do???
  4. In your defense we have eight other OL on the team similar to that so it’s hard to tell
  5. It’s a nice thought but suspect that call has already been made. Either the price was too high or the Russel is busy mining crypto and the interest isn’t there.
  6. I can’t offer any rational argument. From what I saw (did not “watch or study film”, just highlights from the news) he looked healthy in preseason but weren’t a lot of violent hits he had to take. Similar to the Darnold Signing I am reserving judgement. But with this signing I feel more optimism and there is a certain buzz about it. That may change but I will enjoy it while I can.
  7. I didnt think it would happen. I don’t think 2015 Cam is walking through the door but I don’t think it’s battered and beat up Cam either. All in all I think he is still a special and dangerous football player. That said, Cam is exponentially better than any QB on the roster and will elevate the offense. Doesn’t fix the OL but it gives the offense a wrinkle that may mask some of the deficiencies. The one thing I worry about is anybody lining up behind that line is subject to a beating. Cam is tough but damn! Good signing all around.
  8. If anyone witnesses said stats it means there is a new and powerful hallucinogenic recreational drug on the street.
  9. I ran into Cook at the Teeter this morning and he was looking a bit worried.
  10. Proof and detailed information is not a requirement for an Internet forum.
  11. Yeah. I think if you take a step back this makes a lot of sense. Perhaps too much sense to be posted on a message board. Fix the line and either replace Darnold or bring in someone that can and eventually will take over.
  12. The main problems with this team stem from the QB on the field and the players assigned to protect him. At the very least the FO needs to address the line and get a future starter at QB. Brady could be sleeping on an air mattress in Sam's apartment and on the sidelines during games throwing rose pedals at his feet but the results would be the same.
  13. Correct. But, from a Sam perspective, I don’t see how the current situation is much different than the Jets. We wanted him to shake off all the bad habits but haven’t given him much help to do that. He gets the ball and has to count to 1.0001 then run for his life. I think he is programmed that way and now even when he does have time he doesn’t know any better and does something stupid. Poor guy is done and I feel bad for him but you are right. He is definitely not the answer. Sadly, for us and him, he has no business being a starter in this league.
  14. To me the OL is a must. A stronger line will offset some ( I stress only some) of your QB deficiencies. Throwing a bunch of capital at-a QB without addressing the line first is a mistake. You will end up with better stats than Darnold but it will ultimately not solve the problem.
  15. Robby should catch hell from the coaches for that outburst. But Robby can’t catch anything so it will likely get swept under the rug.
  16. So he would be a perfect fit here. Consistent stank ass OL play across the board. Could have nabbed all three this off-season.
  17. I know field goals won’t consistently win games but today I’m ok with a 10-9 game at halftime.
  18. This might need further analysis but I am willing to say “thread over”
