This is getting out of control man. I honestly don't know if acquiring Watson is the right move for us long-term or not, impossible to say for sure, but I sure as hell don't want him going to NO...
-
Injecting some excitement back into this season which has turned soo boring offensively.

Attending the AZ game, so I'm in the camp that says fuggin' play him this weekend.

Was going to give ya a beer, but I see that option is now gone. Pie will do. Edit: I guess the beer isn't gone after all. Was weird though, wasn't an option a minute ago, oh well!

Haha right?? But people keep posting as if Fitt isn't aware of our O line needs improvement.

I was with you for the clean-up/food prep/beer run, but a snooze? haha

Easy to tell who is a hip hop fan and who isn't in this thread, haha

Charlton questions and ST's needed improvement

Less concerned about his overall average b/c as it's already been said multiple times, field position is a big factor there. However, when we have had to punt deeper in our own territory, he's been terrible. -
The Huddle never ceases to provide plenty of "almost spit out your coffee" moments, haha, thanks for that one

Agreed, I think it's pretty damn good.

CMC Injury Update: "Less than grade 1" hamstring strain
dpm0409 replied to shaka's topic in Carolina Panthers
Indeed it is encouraging news, but idk about everyone "fearing the worst". Maybe I'm totally off, but when he jogged off the field and then they showed him walking back to the locker room later, (which they showed extensively) he didn't even have any sort of limp at all. No change to his gait from what I could see. Anyhow, great news! -
When they showed the replay and I saw it was clearly of the non-contact variety, I feared he tore his achilles. Not happy he apparently broke multiple bones in his foot, but I still say that's much better than a torn achilles.

I feel like Thursday Night Football was the enemy last night. I would HATE TNF if I was a player. All so the league can make more money and players don't get enough time off in between games.
-
Yeah, I don't think I'll waste my time sending a complaint to the league because as has already been said, they don't give a $hit. I usually don't complain about officiating because it is what it is....but even I was texting some of my buddies during the game about how atrocious the calls were. OP hit on the worst ones.

That's fair when looking at the 2021 season thus far, but the article is very detailed and talks about our defense in 2020 as well. The underlying message here is more about how NFL defenses (like any facet of the game) need to evolve in order to counter what the other side of the ball is doing and how Snow seems to be ahead of the curve in that regard.

I'm in agreement with most everything that has been said. One thing I will add to the specific comments about it being refreshing to see young players getting reps and playing time (which rarely seemed to happen under RR): Even though Rhule is more willing to give our young talent significant playing time vs. trotting out average vets, I love that it isn't an 'all or nothing' type of approach. To clarify further what I mean, he seems to evaluate each player individually and assess whether they are ready or not. That's the way it should work! It shouldn't be making decisions solely based off of philosophy (always play vets, always roll with the younger guy, etc.)

Not defending CH or RF, but I mean it's just a case of being realistic imo. Rookie and a player who didn't through the off-season in our system. I wouldn't expect them to be hitting their ceilings yet. Of course they need to improve. Also, I'm not in the camp of people that think solid all around RB's are "a dime a dozen".

This pretty much sums it up.

That's good sports rankings. Guess who's #1?

"Sam needs preseason reps, this coaching staff is clueless."

We're not used to having the number of weapons this year's team has. I think that's all it is. Robby will make some big plays this year I'm sure!
