...until the big night gets underway.

Can't recall the last time a draft felt this wide open.  I have no idea what's gonna happen.

Last year's first round went screwy when the Dolphins traded up.  This one might be screwy from the get-go.

I'm reaching Critical Mass here, I've been ready since April. I'm definitely ready to see who Don Gettleman ends up with at the end of the Draft and anxious to see who the opposition gets.

I think that intensity of anticipation may be what the NFL was hoping for,

If they get significantly better ratings this year, don't be shocked if May Draft Days become permanent.

I suppose so, it wouldn't shock me if they decided to make May Draft permanent. Goodell probably has a few more hairbrained schemes up his sleeve.

I'd prefer the first week of May to the second, but I could live with it.

I'm a Goodell critic too, but this particular move hasn't put me off as much as others.

    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
    • How do I activate said Krispy Kreme deal? I'm stoned man you can't be playing with me about this...
