DID HE ACTUALLY DO THAT?

At one point Monday, Baker appeared to grab Julius Peppers. At the very least it was a touch with a closed hand. No one does this to Peppers. The former linebacker from Maryland does. He looks too young to have a coaching resume that dates back 25 years. Stints in San Diego, Detroit, Minnesota and St. Louis came after a dozen years in college football. Long enough to believe that he can get close to Julius Peppers and live to tell the tale. Delicious.

Let's point out that this wasn't an offensive touch or grab. It was just direct and Baker made sure his star know that he wanted more. He appeared to get it when Peppers ran wild in the next drill against the offense.

Last I read Peppers was a player not a god. Showing favoritism is the easist way to lose the whole team. Good Move Mr. Baker. I would love to see Julius Peppers play lights out football this season.

Maybe what he needs to reach his full potential was a foot up his A$$.

Go Panthers

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
