Hornets willing to part with #9 for Afflalo

The Chicago Bulls have been linked most prominently to a deal with Orlando involving shooting guard Arron Afflalo, although sources say that’s not likely happening on draft night, but it’s still very much in play. The dark horse to obtain Afflalo still remains the Charlotte Hornets, who have long coveted him and are willing to give up the ninth pick and a roster player to do it.

they will ask for a fortune, but when the time comes- i think they will bite for Hendo and #9

i dont know if we are offering Hendo though, they had him go to the uniform unveiling and he's a "captain" on the team.

I hope we arent stupid on Hendo's stock/upside

That's Terrible. He's just a tad better than Henderson and we are gonna trade the 9th overall pick to do it? I understand trading the pick if u was trying to get Klay Thompson or somebody that's a star and young.

BUT AFFALO. 30 year old sg who's never broke out and just average his whole career. Who also can opt out next year so he would w a rental. Jesus don't be stupid cho

Too much to give up in a loaded draft for what could be a one year rental on a guy.

#9, #24 & Henderson for Afflalo & #12 I would do.

Or #9, #45 a future 2nd rounder and an expiring for Afflalo & #12.

I think it will be #9 and Neal for Afflalo.  I would want O'Quinn also because he is a good backup c that could push Biz for that spot.  Maybe #9 and Biz.  Just stumbled on to this site a few days ago while on hornetsplanet. Hello everyone

    • Panthers have needed some sort of unusual occurrence to happen to find a win so if Dak has a once in a career type implosion or Renfrow randomly goes for 175 and 3TDs off Renfrow routes…..then maybe we can win.  Lining up in a relatively normal game of football and winning doesn’t seem to be something we can really do.   We have largely been dominated outside of weirdness happening
    • In a sense, but I'd say it's more like we won because the Dolphins were just a worse team and because Evero made the adjustments needed to keep the game close enough to have a chance.   Which, again, is my point and the same one I was making after the Falcons game.   Winning in spite of your mistakes because the other team made worse mistakes, is not something that gets me excited moving forward, it just makes me more concerned, particularly when this coaching staff has already shown that they don't fix their mistakes moving forward week to week. And, as I've said, I'm just done "enjoying wins" because we got a win, despite not actually looking good while doing so. I want to get into the playoffs again, I want to contend for SB's.  To me, showing improvement and looking good, but still losing in the end, would make me happier and more excited for our future than backing into wins against bad teams in spite of our own issues.  Not a single thing about this win gives me hope about our long term future, but numerous things happened throughout the game that give me cause for concern. And that's not me saying I want losses for draft positioning, I'd still rather win those games, but if it's look good and lose or look bad and win, it's an easy decision for me to look good but lose. This season was never meant to be about winning games, it was about showing improvement, which is 100% something you can do in losses, just as you can show regression in wins.  I don't care about winning or losing this year, I care about improving as a team, record aside. To me, this is a season where showing improvement is a win, showing regression (or the same mistakes) is a loss, the actual win or loss is irrelevant to me because we're not a contending team right now, that's when wins and losses matter.
