More Darrin Reaves?

Am I the only one that wants to see more Darrin Reaves, possibly even with the first string?

The kid 5'10 220 , but can cut like he is on rails and gets low. It seemed to me the entire run game picked up a bit the moment he stepped onto the field.

Do the Panthers need to get a really good look at him earlier in the game to really be able to evaluate him? Would it be worth it to limit Barner carries to give him more?

What sayest thou, huddle?

You're not alone. I believe at this point he could be a better option that JStew ( who stays injured).

The entire running game struggled to get much going... Barner was shut down all game long and Fozzy Whittaker and Darrin Reaves had a couple decent runs, albeit late in the game... This all still points to our issues at OL and getting those big men settled in their new positions and finding a rhythm with each other..

I'm sure we will.  The Reaves v. Barner v. Whitaker preseason battle is one that's winner could definitely see playing time.

Reaves looks like he's got the most authority when he runs.  Decisive with his cuts as well.

    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
