Dominating this drill between OL and DL right now: Turner and Short. Hoping they go against each other.

Brad Nortman has not been mentioned much during this camp. But he just unleashed a 72-yard punt.

Cason and Benwikere returning punts today. Nortman just cranked out out of end zone, someone starts singing "Bombs Over Baghdad."

Now Hardy almost adds an INT. It’s not just today, Hardy has been getting deeper in coverage this camp.

#KRAKEN is all over the field today, showing off some serious pass coverage skills. #KeepPounding

10:33am - 12 Aug 14

Hardy is a monster in coverage today. We may have found our new safety. #Panthers

10:31am - 12 Aug 14

If Kelvin is open over the middle, it's a first down. Another nice grab from cam in stride. #automatic.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
