I'd agree.

And to be honest, while his performance last game had moments, it was overall somewhat inconsistent.

Keeping a third quarterback, who would remain on the inactive list for the vast majority of the games if not all of them, will lessen the Panthers chances of developing a young player in a position of real need.

I disagree.  We might miss some of Cams exciting play, but Anderson is no slouch.  I could see this team make a playoff run with Anderson.

I didn't see a single day of training camp but he looked damn good throwing the ball to King last week against Buffalo. He also looks faster than cam....Just saying. maybe he is a game day , lights come on type of player. then again , maybe I had too much to drink and he had a lot of incompletions

Keep the guys who can play. If Webb earns it keep him.

Don't keep the scrubs just to say you kept a WR.

If they didn't play as well, send them packing.

I actually like Webb, but if he doesn't make the roster fine, if he does fine, won't make much of a difference either way

Webb's best use would be in practice essentially mimicking the other team's quarterback particularly to get used to mobile guys who can run and pass like Wilson.  Plus if the thought that Anderson is not the quarterback of the future if Webb appears to be a good candidate then they might keep him on the roster for the future.

 

But like most folks have said, he is most likely gone given there are so many guys we would like to keep.  Plus as a vet he would cost more than if we kept a rookie on the practice squad.  I wonder how well he has mastered the playbook.....
