I contended Deangelo is the 3rd best RB on the team

I honestly rather see Fozzy in there instead of DWill. I know Fozzy had a bad drop last night but he runs hard and is what Deangelo used to be. He's decisive and hits the hole hard. Deangelo is a patient runner and with this line I'm not so sure you can afford to wait (see Barner). Stewart will be key to a successful season.

I caught a little flack from it from JJ and Sammi on the podcast for saying it.

Am I wrong?

When you say RB, are you including Tolbert, and assuming that Stewart is healthy?

If so, I'd think that DWill could very well be the 4th best RB on our team.

Tolbert

Stewart (if healthy)

Fozzy (young, fresh, runs with attitude)

DWill

Fozzy is not better than DeAngelo just because of a few decent runs against the Chiefs' 3rd stringers. You people need to get a grip. I do believe Stew is better than DeAngelo and it's not even close. Tolbert could be, but I don't see him as an every down back so I wouldn't compare the two.

I would say almost any 24-25 year old RB is better than any 31-32 year old RB in the NFL. It's not about who the player is or what they have accomplished, it's just about the nature of the position.

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
