Other Team's Cuts

Ted ginn is the 5th reciever in az. The said jeron brown has won the 4th reciever job. 4nik is a lot to pay just a return man. I think its possible he could be out

I asked about him in another thread, a couple guys more knowledgable than me said that because he signed a 3 year deal and they would have dead money count against them if he we're cut, they will probably keep him around to return kicks. Especially since that took PP off return duties.

We are paying him like $2 million this year anyway, why not?

Matt Ryan wears braided belts.

We are still feeling the affects of his lingering cap hit. We are not still paying him.

IMO, the biggest shocker so far I've seen with team cuts, specifically rookies, has been Jackson Jeffcoat (DE from Texas).  This guy was suppose to be a 2nd rd pick, ended up going undrafted, and now is cut.  Dude was a 5* coming out of high school.  Crazy!

Jeffcoat fits a very particular defense. He needs one where he can be a 3-4 lineback and rush the passer from space. Honestly, he'd be awesome in Green Bay's defense.

He's basically a straight Michael Sam with an injury problem.

Dolphins just cut Safety Demetrius Wright. Undrafted rookie out of USC. I would like to sign him and see what he can do Thursday, as a strong safety.

And

@RavensInsider: 49ers cut McLeod Bethel-Thompson, D.J. Campbell, Kevin Greene,Jewel Hampton, Colton Schmidt, Kion Wilson, Devon Wylie.

We need to bring back Kevin Greene to pair with TD and Kuechly.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
