Hill is way better than Bersin and its not even close.

If it comes down to it Bersin should not have a roster spot over Hill. Bersin is not the next best thing. Hill has that chance here.

Doesn't have to be one or the other let them compete and winner take all. I don't know why philly brown is taking up a active roster spot and has shown nothing but the ability to catch and muff punts. Move him or u can let avant go because...why have him and his doppelganger cochery on the same roster?

I'm still afraid of some jackass team like the patriots poaching him from our practicr squad.

He doesn't even know the playbook and he's had zero practices with the rest of the team. There's literally no reason to put him on the 53 at this point.

In a few weeks, if they feel he's ready they may move him up to the regular roster. Even then I'd say it's doubtful that they drop Bersin to do it. At that point, there's a good you have an injury or two which makes the decision of who to drop easier.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
