OK, let's talk about the Lions

Our defense is built to stop teams like the lions, with time of possession and a stalwart d with and elite pass rush we can game plan to stop calvin. Stafford is good but every qb struggles when they are constantly pressured. Look at the two teams in the division, atlanta and NO both have calvin johnson esque type receivers with graham and julio. This game will be no different control the clock limit possessions and keep them out

Of the endzone will win this game. Calvin will get his we jus need to keep him from getting in the endzone. Our rushing offense will have to be solid to keep the clock and the chains moving, and cams legs will play a huge factor...this is a great test and im excited to see how we handle it. Luckily we gave a great defense, a great dc, and a great defensive minded HC. We will be alright

Time of Possession will be the key.

Limit the big play opportunities they get.

Frustrate Stafford and he starts pressing.  Then come the turnovers.

Covert 3rd downs on offense and win the turnover battle and the Panthers will have 99.9% chance of winning the game.

their defense is no slouch, but their secondary can be had.  problem is, like us, they have two monsters in the middle of the dline and two very good linebackers in Levy(very underrated and played like a monster last night) and the always solid Tulloch.  if we can wear them down, i dont know much about their reserves so we definitely need them long, momentum killing drives.

turnovers, If our d line can get after stafford make them pay..............hardy did it this past Sunday but we were unable to capitalize, strip the ball from Stafford every opportunity we get to get them off the field take it.......if we can make the most of those opportunities i think we will pull a W out of this

We need to run the ball and use double TE sets and hit the TEs a lot off play-action.

Also one thing I noticed from the Bucs game was that our blitzing from the DBs was kinda suspect. Mcnown picked up key 1st downs because our blitzing DBs made it obvious they were coming and took forever to get to him. That is not gonna fly against Sftafford.
