Ok, I caved and clicked the link for the mmqb article. I was struck by:

So, let me sum this up. Peter King and SI believe the only reason Hardy has not been suspended is because there is no proof of physical assault. But read the testimony that led to all the physical accusations being tossed and you see he yelled at and threatened a coked up drunk woman who would not leave his apartment and started to assault him physically while being held back by others at the apartment.

 

I tend to agree with Peter King and his genius here. There is no proof of aggravated assault = no suspension. What an idiot.

 

BTW, this Hardy nonsense is over a misdemeanor charge. However, a more serious crime like DUI/DWI sees players like Nick Fairley go untouched as he appeals and appeals and appeals some more. Makes perfect sense to an idiot. Let the system work and stop these insane witch hunts. You get your pizza in 30 minutes or less; not your justice. Patience is a virtue that many discard for instant gratification.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
