Whiskey River is going full retard

Getting this thing cancelled is a beautiful thing. Not only to piss off Steelers fans, but to show that our fanbase is growing and gives a damn again

This second part for sure. Boo and I were just talking about it a few mins ago. Our fanbase couldn't have made this happen a few years ago. It shows we're growing, we care, and we will defend our town. I say it whenever I have the chance....it's time to change the culture. This was a nice baby step in making a change. Another HUGE step would be to make sure they don't own us in the stands at BoA on Sunday.

There's a HUGE difference between welcoming opposing teams' fans and local promotion company throwing parties to cater to them to make a dollar. Especially when that said promotional company claims to be a Panthers fan.

Sent from my iPhone

how dare these places cater to fans that are here year 'round...

"this week is our make or break for the year"

not really surprised tho.... any bars I find here in WS are only part time Panther bars. every 3-5 years. :(

until the Panthers put together a 10 year winning streak it will always be this way.

Wow. That was really quick. So how many of you trolls sent him death threats?

No death threat from me but I did write a pretty nasty FB status and made sure to tag them in it. I'm sure my mother will be calling me about the language a little later today.

That last part is unfortunately impossible. It looks like all the PSL seats are for sale on StubHub at ridiculous prices. Those seats will either have a Steeler fan or be empty on Sunday.

Nothing's gonna change as long as half the stadium seating is owned by investors that use the seats to make a quick buck.

You're right. Changing that isn't going to happen right away. Everyone who is there just do your part in cheering on our team and not letting the Steelers fans be heard.

It's pretty simple actually. Panthers fans show up in force early, and crash their party. This is the year where we'll keep opposing fan bases very quiet at BOA. Ah yes, the taste of sweet revenge when we actually have a terrific football team

thanks everybody for supporting my enraged Facebook post. I was seeing red this morning when I was posting that and I can't tell you how much it means that our fanbase stood up and finally had the balls to say NO, NOT IN MY CITY.

Yeah, i know its probably because we are coming off a great season into another great season 2-0 currently, so this is probably just the droves of bandwagon/fairweather fans who would otherwise care less if we weren't succeeding as a team right now, but I really don't care. Step up. Let it be known we don't stand for this type of poo in our city. GET THE fug OUTTA MY FACE

Sorry, calmed down. So excited that we were able to get this viral so quickly. I'll try and see if I can't get the WFNZ guys to talk about it on the Mac Attack tomorrow.

PANTHER FANS UNITE!!!!!

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
