We can always give you Hurney back. You can have no Oline plus be flat broke for the next decade. The "yankee" did more for this franchise in two years then cornball did in twelve. Civil war is over my friend.

Don't forget Hurney drafted our best players right now that are our future.

I had to go to the stadium 3 weeks ago during late afternoon for work and Dollar Tree Dave was leaving. Dude looks like an 8th grade math teacher. Tucked in short sleeve button up plaid shirt and khakis with a fruity little briefcase.

DTD putting in work!

I was ranting about the state of UNC football in the college FB sub earlier today, and how I feel that sometimes the 6-6 status quo is acceptable for Tar Heel football.

Full disclosure: Sometimes I feel that same way about the Panthers. like the goal of each season is 7-9.

dude the panthers cap situation isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's an excuse for Gettleman to be cheap and joe public who doesn't know any better believes what Dollar Tree Dave says.

I seriously doubt you have the slightest clue about how the salary cap works.

You do realize they're trying to set up to be able to keep Newton, Kuechly, Lotulelei and others in the future, right?

Their goal is to have one winning season every few years, and then spend the other three "building for the future". The funny thing though is the fanbase after every winning season, again once every four years, is thumping their chests acting like we're suddenly the hottest poo in the league, and wondering why the media isn't paying attention, which of course is because we never repeat.

That's probably one of the stupidest things posted on this board in a while.

Losing seasons cost people their jobs. No one is 'content' with that.

that whole "be relevant" schtick that Catawba Riverboat Ron bugs me. I think that's why they got beat in the playoff game because they were too concerned what the morons on Fox NFL Sunday and ESPN were or were not talking about. Personally, I love when the media does not talk about us and constantly overlooks us. I feel that's when we have are better seasons.

People seem to forget DG matched the contract offer on one of the top OTs in free agency, he just chose to sign for the MRSA infected dumpsterfire known as Tampa Bay instead. After that every halfway decent FA OT got massively overpaid and there was no value in the draft at OT.

Who are you guys even saying we should have gone after or is it just "well uhh they should have gotten .. ummm.. someone!" Maybe instead of Kelvin Benjamin we should have taken the next OT drafted, Cyrus Kouandjio, who so far has looked worse than Byron Bell and can't even crack the starting lineup of the Buffalo fuging Bills. Yeah, that'd be awesome.

Even Spotrac.com makes a point to laugh at the terrible money situation the team is in. When you factor Hardy's contract into dead money (which let's be honest is long gone) we have the 3rd highest dead money column between 2013 and 2014 of $51M. The league average for those 2 years was $26M -- take out Oakland and Jacksonville and it's $21M. The other part you already brought up is Luke and Cam.

It's laughable when people say we don't have cap issues
