Official Panthers - Ravens Gameday Thread

Hardy was a do-it-all DE..  could stop the run,  could rush the passer,  and often demanded a tag team to stifle him.   He helped Big Money and Star,  get the freedom they needed to get pressure.

Hardy  for getting into that situation and the NFL both decided this NFL season would be okay to forfeit,  for the Panthers.

Panthers need to change their OC. Pronto.

He has no concept of how to run an offense.

You have to be flexible in today's NFL. You can't be committed to doing this or doing that. You just gotta take what the defense gives you, or is bad at.

Way too many runs in this game, when the passing game was successful, just because media told you "we should run".

WTF?

Nonetheless, Panthers need to get it together quick, and revamp the offense.

Like yesterday.

Shula is way too stubborn to be given the rights to an offense. He was running the ball today regardless of the outcome and that alone is a good enough reason to fire someone.

Thank god for being morally upstanding and paying Hardy $13M,  to NOT play.

Him getting beat on by Olinemen would have definitely been too easy for him..  best that he gets to sit home and play Madden,  which is even less of a punishment than letting him play.

Panthers let the media (who don't like them anyway) sit a guy--based on a misdemeanor conviction that was being appealed. Meanwhile, one of the other guys who had a felony arrest (with no charges yet), stood firm and his team didn't sit their guy.

Panthers should have got out in front of the story and did not.

It was misdemeanor for a reason, no matter how the media wanted to compare it to Hardy.

Bears are not that good, so Panthers need to Man up!

Roll call, time to man up!

No, this is not a Huddler pull your nuts back into your scrotum post.

This is for the Panther players on the field.

You're staring 2-9 straight in the face.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
