Has the team quit on the coaching staff/organization because of the Hardy situation?

The defense don't want to play without hardy. I don't know why ppl don't see it. The tackling and undisciplined tell the story. Think about it.

Tampa game they played great with hardy with emotion.

Detroit game they played hard and great without hardy but was prepared to play with him. The team still was motivated bc they thought he was going to play the next game.

Then the found out he wasn't coming back and that's when the emotion and the tackling went down the hill.

Today it's no better. It's like the coaching and the organization let them down. So now they don't want to play. Maybe they had Hardy back so much it created a bigger problem.

Just my take of things.

So yes the coaches has lost the team.

No the team hasn't quit.  I'm not seeing lack of effort, I'm seeing poor play which has to fall back a bit on the coaches.  I'm also seeing a lack of quality depth and our playmakers not making plays.  Kuechly hasn't been up to par and part of that falls on the defensive lineman for letting blockers get to Kuechly.  Cam has been throwing high quite a bit, and is just not that accurate right now.

This team has a lot of problems right now and I'd hate to be Rivera right now trying to figure this mess out.

Cam has been accurate enough.

Too many high throws.  Too many throws behind the receiver.  He had one really nice pass today and that was it.  He's not why we're losing, but he's not helping much either.  With all the injuries he's dealing with right now that's not surprising to me.  The coaches might want to give him a week or two off and let Anderson give it a go.

Now that the team knows that management cares more about appeasing morons who threaten to hold their breath until they get their way than they do about winning why should they put they give a fug either.

I mean, I'm just a fan and that's how I feel.  If I hadn't already bought tickets to games this season you can damn sure bet I wouldn't have bought any after the Hardy fiasco and I won't be buying any more going forward.

I would imagine some of the guys are just going through the motions and collecting a paycheck at this point.  That's what it certainly looks like out on the field.

Our secondary was as big a question mark as any, and we were relying on the front 7 to disguise any weaknesses.  if we generate no pass rush with the front, then what you see is what you get with Harper, Decoud, and co. in pass coverage.  Hot garbage.

    • This while he didn't single handily LOSE the game on any one play.....    He was a first overall pick, one we paid a fortune for..... the bar for him is a 10 foot dunk not a 5"8 children's rim.   32 for 49 for 287 with 1 td and 1 int in two games vs the worst team in the conference, two critically important games that we would be 9-5 and competing for the #2 if he had led us to victory....   Ive given him props for the TD to tet.... it was the best pass ive ever seen him make.....   But putting up these kind of numbers isn't up to par. Defenses stack the box and dare him to throw....  and he still puts up medicore at best numbers.    To win with Bryce young the entire rest of the team has to be absolutely perfect to make up for his deficiencies.... so while he didn't "lose" this game for us..... HE DEFFINATLY DIDNT GO WIN IT FOR US. (Which is the REALISTIC EXPECTATION)
    • His O is just built on taking repeated shots and that’s not BY’s game.  It was always a round peg and square hole…. But I also agree with your post.  I hate OC HCs.  Especially green ones.   I never liked anything about the setup
    • I get that. He's also trying to do HC and OC this year which I think is just too much for him. I think it's hard to call plays from the sidelines. That view from up top helps them see what a defense is doing better. A few HCs can do it because they have the QBs and experience to pull it off. DC has neither. I think DC may have spread himself too thin and Bryce isn't the QB to be able to pull of his end of it either. How much they compliment each other in creating this offensive bleh, yet to be determined. Doesn't really matter because it's still awful.
