I know everyone will say "well, I don't really want him injured' or something like "I hope he's only out against us", but would you respect that attitude coming from another team's fan about one of our guys? I know I wouldn't.

At heart, it's being glad someone is hurt. The rest is rationalization. I can't get behind that.

Smfh. You still don't get it.

I'm not glad he is hurt by any means.  I'm glad we won't have to face him with our weak ass pass rush without our best pass rusher.  All our running backs, our full back, and possibly our starting LT.  But hey, a win is a win in this league and that's what truly matters.

i would rather play them at full strength when we can play them at full strength...which we aren't.

also, teams have cliver the years taken advantage of our loss of key players due to injury and not thought twice about the win that may have come for them in part because of that. all that matters is the win regardless of of who is or isn't on the field. anything that helps us get that win i'm not going to be upset about.

'Full strength' is a pretty relative term by this time of year.

Anytime a great player is replaced by one who isn't as good, you absolutely take advantage of it.  That's the game.

But even with that in mind, I can't feel anything positive about someone being hurt.  I'd rather that not happen, regardless of whether it helps us win a game or not.

It's going to happen on both sides, but I'm never happy when it does.

See above.

I expect us to give full effort regardless of who's in (or not in), and I hope we win no matter what.

Can't agree with being 'glad we don't have to face him' though.  That's just not right to me.

i don't like people getting hurt, but i'll be happy to take the win regardless of how it takes place because in the end, that is what matters...at least to me as a fan anyway and thats probably true with most players and coaches. at the end of the season they won't be looking back and regreting wins or want to give any back because they don't feel like they deserved it since __________ was injured. a win is a win is a win.

I won't regret wins either.  Like I said, I just prefer this kinda thing not happen.

Reality of course is that it's going to happen.  And the sad truth is that it happens to us a lot.

All these people saying they hope AJ Green plays because they'd rather beat a team at their best...wtf are you talking about?  A win is a win and it doesn't matter how you get it.  I hope he sits Sunday because I just picked up Sanu on my fantasy team.  I'd start him if Green is out.
