Removed a parasite from someone I know...

Warning some of you will find this nasty...

I came to my friend house and he was complaining about all of the sudden having a bump on his arm that got infected.  I asked if he drained it...  He said he did but bump won't go away.  I told him right away that something is inside.  I took a scalpel, alcohol, and liquid iodine with few sterile gauze.  I made a small incision and drained the liquid and I noticed that bump is not going away just like he said so I took scalpel and I made a little deeper incision and squeeze the shitout whatever was inside and a somewhat round, absolutely white egg looking thing popped out probably little bigger than the size of BB pellet.  I cut the parasite looking thing into half but it was empty inside.  It was like an empty parasitic egg...  I tried to research online and all I got his botfly larvae.  My friend visited Mexico 10 months ago so I guess it's possible....  Anyone has any idea wtf that was?

It was probably an ingrown hair or some such thing that got ected. The body will form cysts around the cause of the infection. I had one on my forearm once, and it hurt like a bitch, but once the core was out, it healed right up.

It happens more in tropical locations, partly due to the water used for bathing is not as clean as in the states.

    • He doesn't have the athleticism to play in the NBA. He had the worst numbers of anyone who worked out in this draft. He's legitimately the least athletic player in this draft, which is saying something.
    • Well, he was in probably every NBA franchise's top 6 or 7. Obviously it's nice to take the swing and it work out. But when a guy refuses to work out for your team, is probably the guy refusing to play with LaMelo, has sketchy handlers, etc.? You want...to take that swing? A desperate team does, sure. Which the Hornets are. But a smart team doesn't. Which is what they will hopefully become.  Kon isn't a superstar, but his floor is Kyle Korver. Is that what you want in the 4th pick? Not really, but he's your 4th guy on a good team and what I think Charles Lee wants in a player.  Trade down would've been nice, but for who? Tre Johnson would've been my guy, but he's gone if we trade with Brooklyn. If Washington wanted Ace, I doubt it would've taken much to come get him. Trade down and get Maluach (knowing you're trading Mark) would make sense and may have been the play, but I think Kon helps the team on the court and changing a culture. Not so sure about some of the guys in the 8-12 range.
    • He's already said he's ok with them taking him and ready to get to work
