Cam deserves a game ball and Rivera deserves to walk home for showing zero confidence in his franchise QB who they constantly let down

The Panthers generated 431 yards of total offense.

 

Cam Newton accounted for 391 of them. Everybody else, 40 yards.

Receivers and Oline had something to do with that.  Avant and KB made some really nice catches.

Ron's got to realize his defense is garbage. We don't need to put the game in their hands no more. If were going to do anything this year, our offense is going to have to carry the load. And really, it's going to have to be Cam. This defense is done. At the end of the game, let your best unit and best player win the game.

Agreed, and we definitely need to improve the run game, and not force Cam to run it so much.  Although I thought Whitaker actually ran the ball fairly well, at least early in the game.  They seemed to go away from him though.  Not sure why, except for the pass blocking.
