Cam Newton had more rushing yards yesterday than any of our backs have had all season

I don't want him running that much. If he gets tired, he may not be able to run and also might not be able to accurately throw the ball when he's trying to catch his breath.

Shula needs to stop being lazy and come up with creative plays that gets Cam to throw the ball rather than run.

Probably ran more than we would like, but that is also what Bengals were giving us on read option plays.

Read option is even more important to run game with crappy o line because the QB is sup posed to just be an extra blocker.

Read options are not inherently designed for the QB to run, it is to occupy a defender to gain a blocking advantage.

It should help the entire run game to have Cam more involved in run game

Cam threw over 40 passes.

Posters need to stop being lazy by assuming everything is on a coordinator.  At some point lack of execution should be considered before babbling same ole huddle rhetoric.

What rhetoric are you talking about? Manning or Brady is not rushing for 100 yds just because it's overtime and he's already thrown 40 passes.

    • Thats a weird take, we had no chance at keeping Kobe
    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
