Cam Newton had more rushing yards yesterday than any of our backs have had all season

If given to his own devices, Cam would run for 200 a game and throw for 200 a game.  Huddle logic doesn't apply here, Cam doesn't listen to us, or anybody else for that matter.  Cam did what he wanted to do and almost pulled it off, single-handedly beating a top tier team from the AFC with practically no help.  We got the tie, which is better than a loss, but dayum, this mother fuger is gonna get paid to the point where I fear for the rest of the team not having enough money to field the 1976 Bucs.  Cam is beyond anything we could have imagined, he is better than even I thought he could be.  Unfortunately...that is the problem.

You guys wanted a once in a generation QB?  We got him.  Combine this with the twilight's last gleaming of Hurney's fug it by the bucket payday bonanza and we are caught between the Scylla and Charybdis.

May God and Cam have mercy on Gettleman's soul and salary cap.

dude is gonna get paid and a lot of people aren't going to like it

Like a top 10 QB and a top 10 RB at the same time. lol Add them up and you get what cook is going to ask for when it comes to contract time.

His Agent is going to be like Cam is both a top 10 QB and a top 10 Rusher in the NFL since being drafted....so we want to get as such. Think A-Rod money!

So a 6 year deal worth 156 million, 64 guaranteed. AROD money!

Trade for CJ Spiller. No joke. Its not anything to do with me being a Bills fan that makes me say this. He would bring instant speed upgrades to the position. You can even put him out to WR.

He is a FA at the end of the year, that's the big downfall.

CJ can'the even out perform a 57 year old Fred Jackson to get real time on the field.

I'm a Clemson fan but Spiller is as boom or bust as they get to date. We need consistent

I don't want him running that much. If he gets tired, he may not be able to run and also might not be able to accurately throw the ball when he's trying to catch his breath.

Shula needs to stop being lazy and come up with creative plays that gets Cam to throw the ball rather than run.

He's a world class athlete hes made to run around for 60 mins on sunday

might as well say you don't want Can throwing that much because if his arm gets tired he won't be able to throw accurately or with as much arm strength

Even if Cam ran for 300 yards every game, that is just 2/3 of a lap on the track around most high school football fields. 100 yards would be less than 1/4 of a lap on the track. And you only have to do it in bits and pieces over the course of 3 hours (length of a football game).

    • Thats a weird take, we had no chance at keeping Kobe
    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
