Thomas Davis "Unacceptable"

Chicago's WRs are almost as better than GB's than GB's QB is than Chicago's.

Chicago's WRs would only be better than Green Bay's if Aaron Rodgers was their QB.

Green Bay's wideouts would be very pedestrian and beatable with Cutler throwing the ball.

There is no comparison, they are completely different teams.

Only Green Bay has the far better QB and coaching staff. Their receivers are scary good and our secondary is equally as bad.

For my money Rodgers is the best QB in the league.

Only aspect of the offense that Green Bay has better in my opinion is Rodgers. Bears o-line is twice as good, their 2 WRs are both significantly better than both of Green Bay's, Martellus Bennett is way better than whatever scrub the Packers have and Forte is way better than Lacy when factoring in their roles in the passing game. Trestman is a more innovative offensive mind than McCarthy. I'm not super worried about Green Bay. A little bit, yes but not as much as I was going into the Bears game.

The idea that the Bears offense is better then ours is laughable, Cutler is one of the most overrated players in the league, the dude sucks, the Bears have great WRs, but we have good WRs as well, Nelson is one of the best in the league. You can't compare an offense led by the all time highest rated passer in the league to an offense let by Jay Cutler.

BTW, I'm not trying to hype up the Packers, the Carolina Panthers are a extremely dangerous team and I wouldn't be surprised at all by a loss to them, I'm just saying the Bears ain't nothing compared to us.

@Thomas96

I assure you the Bears O line isn't twice as good as the Packers, you sound like a Bears fan kinda, talking about paper matchups and ignoring on field production, there really isn't any debating who has been more effective thus far, and BTW, Jordy is having a better season then Marshall and Jeffery. ;p

Bears have more passing yards and rushing yards than the Packers. Realize also that Marshall has been battling injury all year and never been fully 100%, same with Jeffery. Packers have gone up against easier teams as well. They're close only because of Rodgers, but the Bears' offense is better as a whole.

Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jefferey are way better than Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson.  Rodgers is way way better than Cutler.  I'm not saying Cobb and Nelson suck, but as it seems you're alluding to, they are more a product of Rodgers than he is of them.  Marshall and Jefferey would be good on any team.

@Thomas96

And yet the more productive offense is the Packers, why? Because the QBs, Cutty is 12-6 TD to INT ratio I believe? Rodgers is 15-1, and again, Nelson is having a better year then Marshall and Jeffery.

No amount of WRs is going to close the gap between Rodgers and Cutler, thinking that the Bears offense is more potent then a Packers offense that has scored more points is foolish. They turn the ball over, we don't.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
