offensive line and secondary need a complete make over!!!  . we got to do something with nate chandler , he just plain sucks if you dont believe me your delusional , put him back at g or just bench him , bell cant get it done either  but i have faith in him but not as a tackle why not try him at guard?  norwell should be starting and i guess we should try out the big canadian poutine eat dude !!  we aint got much to lose and i think he looked better then bell , i know its going to be hard to make the changes but we got nothing to lose cant picture our oline being any worse .

i think our oline should look something like this ;   foulcult, bell, kalil , turner, norwell ,  i think bell would be a decent guard .

Now on the the secondary   , cason should be benched he sucks hate me or not its just the truth , starters should be bene and melvin and with norman in the nickle , godfrey is much worse then i expected him , i never remembered godfrey sucking this bad   !!

as far as safety goes is there really any one else we can start over harper and decoud? wheres boston?? maybe give him acouple plays if hes not hurt or what about colin jones?

on the dline wes horton should be benched and kwan should be the starter along with star !!!!

lastly wide receiver;   bersin should be our #2 its time for us to stop sticking up for cotch and avant they suck id rather have inconsistant lafail and philly brown starting over them two .

oh ye and  fire mike shula

seasons still young we just have to turn it around !!!!!

When all healthy: Bell - Velasco - Kalil - Turner - Norwell should be our line

Both Cason and White suck. Might be time to see Norman and Bene side by side once healthy. Give Boston the starting nod over Harper. Have Boston and Jones rotate with each other. Never put Godfrey on the field again.

Imo Bene is more suited for nickel. I don't want to see this team put him on the outside and have him struggle because they were unable to properly address the position. This team needs to stop asking players to do things they aren't capable of. For example, Captain Munnerlyn was a solid nickel but got alot of hate because this team would put him outside and he'd get abused.

Other examples, Chandler at RT and Godfrey on the field

I understand OPs frustration but in this case the answer(s) are not on the team.

Captain wanted to be a #1 corner.  He was frustrated that we kept putting him at nickel in 5+ DB sets.  He was both our nickel corner and one of our top 2 corners.

    • Oh, now we are "top half?" Keep moving the goal posts. No we aren't. We don't have a surefire WR2, nor do we have a TE that we can count on to consistently make big plays. Our receiving corps is somewhat bland to be honest. It does not have enough juice. Add another playmaker, then we'll likely be top half. Our receiving corps ranked somewhere between 20 and 25 in the league depending upon who you look at. No one has us in the top half based upon last season.
    • It is hard to say--if you look back at our roster from 4 years ago...In addition, we have a ton of money going into our OL right now (which might strengthen the argument to draft a tackle now)  The average NFL career is under 4 years, but the average NFL career for first rounders is 9.3 years, so most get 2 contracts.   So having said that, I look at it as capital--if your concern (legit) becomes an issue, then you should have the same vision and trade that player and draft his replacement.  However, TMAC, Coker, and a rookie is not likely to be a problem for another 4 years--2030.   But to your point, we have a situation right now that the OL has 2 guards and a RT around or over 30.  The make about $70m per year.   I like the perspective of reality you bring, however.  Is that a factor to morgan in 2026?
    • I have no problem drafting a WR, even as high as the 2nd, but I do have an issue with using a precious 1st rounder on it. Another WR is a need, but we also have a lot of other needs, and the goal should always be to draft 1st rounders that you expect to be on the team for 10 years if they stay healthy. In regards to Coker, one of two things happen.  He keeps getting better and becomes our legit #2 to T-Mac and we have to pay him accordingly, or he doesn’t. If he does, then using that 1st rounder on a WR this year was dumb.  If he doesn’t, then drafting a WR in the 1st this year would be smart, but then so would trading Coker when his perceived value would be at its highest. If we were already had a SB contending roster, then yes, a 1st Round WR to put us over the top makes sense, but we just have too many holes to fill to use it that way… again, unless the staff just doesn’t believe in Coker’s ability to become a true #2, which I think he really can be.
