How do you feel as a Panthers fan if John Fox and the Broncos win the superbowl?

What if Elway didn't talk Manning into going to Denver, Fox would have had The Golden Calf of Bristol and Orton...and would be ringless and probably still searching for an offense...

that being said, Foxy was our guy and deserves our support...he gets an a big OMAHA

Peyton deserves it, has always been a class act and is at the top of his game.Fox was a good coach here and did what he could with what he had. Let them win it, then they will fall back to the pack when Peyton retires. They would beat our ass, so let them have their glory this year. We are not ready to compete at a very high level right now.

like it took  a whole  lot of stars to win a superbowl in 3 tries, and that Peyton should retire, and John Fox won't know what to do without a QB as such so he'll get new rbs and get back to foxball. This has no effect on us! Nevertheless we certainly don't need to play them this year. I can't imagine what Peyton would do to our secondary. then again maybe that embarrassment would get them Godrey'd.

i'd be amazed that fox was apparently an offensive guru and we were holding him down all along in carolina

denver has him on a leash and he has substantially less sway over personnel and playcalling there.  it's obvious to anyone who remembers anything about his days coaching the panthers.

bringing in manning was 100% an elway move-quarterback is just another position to fox and i really truly believe that orton would be their starter right now if it was his call.  i mean he was begrudgingly forced into starting teboner by ownership and fan pressure and was still making a bunch of snarky comments to the media even after they were winning.

He has some success in DEN because he has the best qb of all time. He could have more success here if he had a qb like Payton Manning instead of Delhomme. His success or failure has nothing to do with owner or other things.

That said, I'll be happy if he won Super Bowl if the opponent is not the Panthers.

Wish we still had Fox. That's all.

i actually remember what it was like when fox was coaching this team so i really, really don't

newton would either not be here or would be riding the bench in favor of like matt moore

e: actually scratch that fox was never much of a matt moore fan because he was too laid back so replace that with some other rudy who jogged past other players to practice

I'd be happy for him.  He took us to the SB.  Many fans here regard Foxy as a bad coach because of his last two seasons with us.  But JR made him a lame duck and was prepping for the lockout.  Fox didn't force is way out of here....he was forced out  because he called Hurney out.  If Big Cat had a mulligan on that situation Fox would still be here.

We see Fox in Denver having a lot of success and wonder if it could have been us.  That's why fans don't want him to do well.

Oh well.

It is what it is.

Lol
