Who would he bring in as a head coach?

Will he keep cam?

Once were out of cap hell in 2016 I believe we are going to have a brand new team...

#keep pounding

Would probably bring in a coach with ties to the Giants.  My guess.  Steve Spagnuolo who served as Giants DC from 2007 to 2009.  Spags failed with the Rams and the Saints, but he runs a defense the way DG likes to build one.  I would say Gilbride but he retired earlier this year.    Personally I wouldn't mind giving Jack Del Rio another shot.

He'll keep Cam if the price is right.  If anything DG as shown himself as someone who has no fear of playing hardball with high profile players.  I'm sure he wants too, but he won't cut his nose in spite of his face.

I'm not sure what that bird is supposed to mean.  But it's amusing.  So pie even though it's probably an insult.

It's not an insult, it just struck me as funny.  The saying is "cutting your nose off in spite of your face".

I try not to insult fellow Huddlers.  I just enjoy coming here and having fun with you idiots.

How about, will Cam stay if Rivera and Shula, and maybe even Gettleman are still here?

I think Newton has all the power in this scenario?

Same.

I said earlier that DG or JR will have to pick between Cam or Rivera and Shula. The fact DG extended Rivera isn't a great sign either.

Nope!

If I was Cam, I'd get the hell out of Carolina if both Rivera and Shula were still there.

Even though Rivera's a poor head coach. At least if Cam has a good coordinator, he can still put up good stats. However, now he's putting up stats inconsistently (cause you never know what Shula's going to do or not do), and his team is losing.

    • As a Penn State alum I was excited to see everyone return, truth is I think we came into the year a bit over confident coming off last season. Had a slow start and poor depth at LB once Rojas went down, and once Franklin was fired the season was essentially over. From a character perspective DDS is a 10/10 guy, hardworking and incredibly loyal. Nobody expected him to return for his senior year, but he did to try win us a Natty. He also played the entire bowl game this year against Clemson which is rare to see as a high end senior prospect.
    • Both of New England's TDs were scored when Maye went into "wing it and fling it" mode. As Deac said, when he did run, he ran well.  And, while some of the criticism of Sam Darnold may be warranted, Super Bowl history is littered with QBs who didn't light up the scoreboard but still came away with championships. Matter of fact, ever seen the list of Super Bowl winning QBs who didn't even throw a TD pass? Namath SB3, Griese SB8, McMahon SB20, Aikman SB28, Elway SB32, Roethlisberger SB40, Peyton Manning SB 50, Brady SB53.
    • Nope. Don't do that. We need an infusion of talent, not going all in one prospect. Especially a pass rusher. We already drafted two in the 2nd last year and they usually take 2-3 years of development. We should honestly try to add an impact vet there in free agent and focus elsewhere in the draft. We don't need more young developmental talent there. We have that. We need someone who can step in and add an impact day one.
