Mike Shula on issues in the red zone:

Recommended Posts

After thinking about it, cut Shula some slack. He didn't cause Cam and Stew to fumble, he didn't cause the int, or the turnover in the red zone or Cams need to try to shoulder the team or the Big Ben dropped td.

Cut the man some slack.

Cam didn't call a fugging read option with Jason Avant either.

On the 4th-and-25 screen pass at the end of the game:

“The last play was a little gadget play that didn’t get off; that didn’t quite get completed.

it's amazing how the team is completely incapable of running a screen...  and somehow he thinks it's going to magically come together at the end of the game.

They have no speed, screens to Avant and Olsen aren't going to cut it. We literally run the same damn plays every week. Maybe I'm ignorant, but from my seat it looks like there is no gameplan.

Jesus people. If the line isn't providing protection and the opposing D is bringing pressure, your best shot at slowing that pressure down is to run a screen of some type. Cam didn't even have two steps to set his feet for a quick out route.

Then how about replacing Stewart with Brandon Williams to block in an obvious passing situation like zod said. But, you know, that makes too much sense.

THAT'S a more valid point than the drivel that's been posted in this thread. Up to now, people were posting like replacing the OC would be a magic fuggin pill to fix what's been happening on offense.
