So I think tonight showed us that we are a bottom 5 team.  Some rejected this notion last week when I said it, but look at this line and our receivers.  Look at our struggling defense.  We won't get anymore than three more wins this season.

This game was the one glimmer of hope I had that maybe this season would mean something. That disappeared as soon as we failed to take advantage of another great first half defensive performance.

 

Time to make some legitimate cuts to the roster to loosen up some salary cap money in the off season and get a coaching staff that puts an emphasis on the quarterback play and can keep up with the pace of the new offense-first NFL.

It is what it is. We didn't execute tonight. There won't be any personnel changes. We had missed opportunities. We need to play better. We'll search free agency. We can't find anybody we like that's a fit. The most important game is the next one. We are only half a game down. Hey, we won last year.
