DA will play a few games for us this season. Cam will not continue to get his arse killed for the rest of the season.

Cam ain't willingly going to the bench

Bench him for whatever reason you want to...o bet he pulls a power play with his agent this offseason to get out of here

Benching a young QB in favor of a vet to finish out the season makes little to no sense. I could see benching Cotchery and Avant in favor of Philly and Bersin, or even a PS receiver. I could also see benching a vet like Harper for Boston/Lester. Benching a young player as vital to the team as a QB just to finish out a season would take away valuable reps. Unless they feel Anderson gives them a better chance to reach playoffs, you wont see him. My opinion? Dont expect it.

If they bench Cam for Anderson, its time for a new coach.

Does anyone really know what Getty is thinking?? May be part of his plan. As much as we all love Cam, Getts did not bring him here. To me he seems like the cocky d-bag type that wants this to be the team HE put together.

I think Gettlemen is old school. Cam is new school. Gettlemen being so old is part of the reason he never could get an interview

If that's the case and I don't personally think it is then he better trade for mucho picks and players because if he just let's Cam walk the # of fans that also walk will be staggering.

      Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?

      I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
