Wilson completes 10 passes and Seattle still scores 38 points

Wilson has been garbage as a passer the past few weeks but when your QB runs for over a hundred yards that confuses the defense immensily and opens up the running game. If Cam was gaining 100 yards on the ground we would be winning more games. Cam has been banged up all year and the Oline is junk so I'll wait and see if Rivera can work his late season magic on this one when the entire backfield is back.

That was the TB game on MNF right? What a glorious game. Stewart stiff arm of death.

Giants game on SNF for what ended up being the top seed in the NFC

I think the giants did us one better and rushed for 300. They beat us in overtime after kasay missed a field goal at the end of regulation. We were so thin at DT that Charles Johnson was playing there full time late in the game iirc.

I don't know.  As we have seen, backs tend to have relatively short shelf lives, especially those that run like Lynch.  If I were the Seattle management, I would be very careful about giving him a long term guaranteed big money contract.

Yeah, but if you take away the production or threat of Beat Mode, Russell Wilson's a back up basically.

giants.

williams was one of the worst pro bowl snubs of the decade that year

Ah yea, great game too.  Due to the outcome, I wouldn't call it glorious though heh

yeah that was insane. 1500+ yards and like 20 total touchdowns it was?

granted he didn't truly get red hot until the second half of the season but i think clinton portis freaking made it over him

yes and 0 fumbles

now he seems to fumble with games on the line.

    • I can't tell you what other's expect from him before they will start believing in him. I think for some, they will never be able to overcome his size. I think that is the fundemental problem for them which means they will never be happy with him behind center. For others, it seems he will have to be in the top 10% in pretty much every catagory and do that all seaon for them to start believing in him. Not everyone of course. There are people on this board that, while have doubts, can still acknowledge his good plays and are willing to give him another season. Those folks I would assume just want consistency - and wins. I could be off on all the above but that's kind of how I see it. And while you didn't ask, I will say I'm glad they picked up his 5th year option. He earned it. I do not think he should be signed to a long term contract yet. I do think he will develope in a franchise QB and will get the Panthers back into the playoffs and win them but I know I could be wrong. Next year will be the big test. If the offense continues to improve and they get back to the playoffs because of the offense, it will be time to sign him long term. If it's a repeat of this year, then it's time to look elsewhere for a QB. Like I said though, I believe he can be the guy so would be surprised if he doesn't make it.
    • Well since I am so biased, why don’t you tell us what he has to do to earn the trust of everyone that doubts him? If you say he has already done it, we really will never agree.
    • Also, do you think it a bit odd that the media has ignored it? Maybe they haven’t. But I am not aware of it being written or talked about.
