This entire discussion (thread) is about Cam Newton. His name didn't have to be mentioned. Regardless, it's always been obvious that he loves the game and wants to do more in it than just collect a paycheck, and the rednecks who keep calling into Charlotte radio stations talking about Cam is all about "me, me, me" need to go jump off a bridge. Funny how nearly every time someone accuses Cam of being selfish, it's usually a white gentleman with a thick southern drawl.

I never truly believed Cam could ever leave the Panthers, however I'm beginning to think it might actually happen. If anything he looks pissed. Take for instance the hell mary throw he did before the end of the 1st half. To me it looked like he just said "F it" and threw it up not giving a rats ass about what happened. If they don't fix the o-line in the offseason, poo will hit the fan.

But, but, I read it right here - the very truth that this WR unitis really good and going to come on strong. Much better then LaFell, and Smith and anyone else that was in NC. And the OL just needs time to gel, the D is top notch and will be good enough to keep them from being too much of a liability and oh yeah, the best part - this RB tandem is, like, the best in the league.

Back off the ledge, you guys are way too close. This is just a regrouping year. Y'all will sharpen the knives, fix a few holes with some patches and find some new tools.

A few OL, a nice young RB found anywhere, and some depth across the D. Not hard to patch up, but Newton has to step up, too.

I made a thread after the first preseason game suggesting that last year's receiving corps might be better than this year's. 

 

I said that Benjamin, while very talented, might experience some growing pains. I am a Seminole fan and mentioned that Kelvin dropped a lot of balls and tended to lose focus and get lazy in his routes.

 

I also said that Lafell might not be as terrible as everyone here thought and that Smitty might still be able to play.

 

I said all these things in a very nice way.

name a player that doesn't play in the NFL for the money and fame. Anyone you name I'll call bullshit on because there ain't a single damn one of them playing for free.

I don't fault players for making money, or for it being their sole motivator, I work my job right now for the pay and benefits and nothing more, so I'm supposed to judge a player for doing the same just because he makes more then me? Ain't gonna do that, I say more power to them.

I believe everyone has the right to make as much as they can as fast as they can because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Remember the NFL is a business first and foremost, a lot of people forget that but people stop player for the love of the game after college.

Even in college, players play it not for the love but to enter the NFL where is full of millionaires.

Let's just admit cam isnt a franchise QB. He's good but not capable of making those around him better like a Brees,manning, Brady, Rodgers. The whole team sucks, the coaches suck, the owner sucks, the fanbase sucks. I just don't see this getting fixed and cam still being here. Imo he's gone and this year is why
