That wasn't violent. If it was we would be more disgusted. He couldn't get a girl to leave his house. A girl he broke up with. He is not Ray Rice.

Most younger drivers test the limits. I did. You act as though you were a model citizen in your early 20's. If so great but for most people that age they live a little. As long as your not killing people you should be allowed to make a living.

 

For the record from what I have gathered from the case I don't think he became violent, but I do think he acted like an asshole. Even if he didn't hit her, he still stuck his dick in crazy. Something no one should ever do. 

 

If you are being payed millions of dollars to do a job, then I think it's completely reasonable for your employer to not want you to act like a jackass. I am still in my 20's, I did and still do 'live a little', however I have never nor will I ever do it at anyone else's expense. People that do that are assholes. Cutting him slack is excusing his poor behavior. Poor behavior is poor behavior, regardless of how much money you make. 

 

Now would I take him back next year? For peanuts, hell yes. He's a damn great player and would help us out tremendously.

 

Would I sink millions and millions of dollars into his loose cannon ass?

Hardy will be getting 13mill to walk and potentially go to a rival squad so we can see the Kraken released on Cam Newton next year. It's stupid to give away that much money with no return. That was as stupid as paying Smith 5mill to play elsewhere.

New Orleans would have no problem signing the guy. This is football not a humanitarian outreach. You put players out there to dominate not give out lolly pops. Theyre all not gonna be Greg Olsen or Cam Newton. This weak-mindedness will never produce a winning FOOTBALL team. It might make for a good choir though.

What if Hardy is toxic around the league and nobody wants to touch him? Who says no to a one year 5 million deal to allow him to prove himself to the rest of the league after next season? Do we give him a shot at a cut rate or say hell no? Would he even need to do that or will a team out there roll the dice on a long term big money deal for the guy?

Moot point though.  All reports indicate the Panthers had no plans to stick with Hardy beyond this year even before all the garbage happened.  Seriously doubt anything's happened since then to change their minds.

 

Is Hardy really "Off the field" crazy? This would be his first offense and honestly any other year he would never have sat one game. Beason got into a similar situation in a night club and did not miss any time. Honestly, Hardy is in a wrong place at the wrong time type deal.
