trade Big Al?

Too early, but should things continue this would definitely be a possibility.

The problem is you're going to run into a situation like the Braves are in right now. If you trade Al, you might as well tear it all down with the exception of the youngins and hope they develop enough so by 2016 you have a young core and cap space in a bad east to pitch to Steph a la Cleveland and LeBron.

The problem with that is Cho is not going to be the guy that tears down what he just built, so he would probably have to go.

God between the braves, hornets and panthers I'm ready pull my eyes out. I expected this year to be one of the best sports seasons for me ever (Braves coming off a 96 win season, Panthers off a 12 win season, and the return of the hornets) but the whole year has gone to poo.

Dan Uggla and Bj upton cost us a Heyward extension.

Just...I can't...that's just terrible...

On a positive note, should the hornets be in a position to sell off players, they already have a young core in the wings and the contracts they have on the books aren't exactly albatrosses (somebody will want to buy low on Kemba if he's made available. That's been the MO of the Kings for a couple years, and Hendo can be a throw in to match salaries.)

The Hornets section is a dumpster fire, did half of you start watching basketball last year?

Are you kidding? Chuck has actually gone away from his emotional posts and folks are dropping knowledge like it's going out of style.

Roster talk is a year round thing, and with Al surely opting out after this season it is interesting to think about.

Trade him for who?

It's a bit early, these guys have to learn to play together.  This isn't the NFL.  I'm a bit worried, yes, but it's still early.

For a minute I thought I was in the Panthers section. This place is a damn abomination right now.

Pretty much how I feel also. I will say this, if Al doesn't start showing some intensity on the boards or defensively, I want him gone if we can get a good trade. He looks like he doesn't give a poo out there on the court.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
