help me figure out how to watch this shitty team play on sunday

I am a businessmen's best friend: buying a shitty, inferior product because I'm addicted enough to it that I'll keep dumping my time and resources into it no matter how bad it is. I wish I had more control, but I can't not watch it.

Anyway, I'm flying to Vietnam this weekend. I deliberately scheduled my flights so I wouldn't be in the air during the game, but now I've got to figure out the best way to watch it. I land in San Francisco on layover at 12:30 EST, which gives me a half an hour to check into my international flight before kickoff. Does anyone have recommendations about the best way to watch this? I've never been to the airport in San Fran before… are there sports bars there that'll be showing all the games? Has anybody ever used the NFL instant access or whatever it is to watch games on mobile devices? If so how did it work?

Worst case I'll sit there with NFL game center pulled up on my laptop, but I'd rather watch the ass-kicking on an actual broadcast. Much like the 2013 season was sweeter after having watched every poo-ass game of the 2010 season, I expect next year's superbowl run will be that much sweeter for having watched the Saints drop ninety on us in the fuging airport.

Thanks and god bless

Just do what I did last week. Keep your phone on Game Center and constantly refresh, that way when they block the 2nd punt for a a TD, you'll think it's just a mistake... Only it won't be. Then you'll be like, are u fuqin serious?

At which point, you can drink away your sorrows at the airport bar and try to talk a young coed with daddy issues into blowing u in a bathroom stall.

that is my exact plan.

make sure that if you use one of those unmentionable websites from the EU that you have an adblocker.  I've heard that you may have to deactivate it to load the page, but you can reactivate to keep ads from popping up the whole time.  that's what I've heard.  I bought the DirecTV streaming package, so I just use that.

I do it by drinking a lot of amaretto sours. That way, I don't know if the sour taste is from this garbage team and Ron's stoic face or the drink, and it helps me sleep better at night.

fug me running! I thought the term "Stoic" went away in '12! Please never say that word again as long as u live!

    • Great point.    I would lke to add that there is another QB on the roster who was terrible over the middle--Kenny Pickett.
    • I don't think this is the year for Carolina, unfortunately.  I think they will have to make a decision on the QB position-all we know is that Bryce has year 5, but a long term deal has not been signed--yet--and they would be smart to take a "wait and see" approach.  I have not kept up, and I see a path to upside for Bryce, but I do not think we have aggressively pursued a QB when our QB was mediocre to worse than mediocre.  yes, his numbers are improving--but he has adapted by eliminating what he does poorly and not improving on what he does poorly.  Just my take and I have no data to support this view.   Basically, we go as Bryce goes, so the approach is not to bring in a QB to have him compete until we find one, but it is to make Bryce as good as he can be--is that good enough? Season ticket holders buy the hope of winning rings, not winning 8 games. Last year, Bryce had a resurgence.  Take away TMac and Rico Dowdle.  How good was he?  I still have hope.  Not a hater of plan A, but a hater because we have no plan B.
    • Yeah man, I've been here for a very very long time. Couldn't even begin to tell you what year. Maybe 2004 or 5? I've never really been super active, just enjoy reading everyone's opinions and discussions. I'll chime in from time to time. I have had a few different accounts over the years. It's always been a fun place for me to check in on my favorite team. Hopefully we can keep the place running for a long while still. I also would like to recommend bringing back the Lovely Ladies page!
