Ron Rivera vs Lovie Smith Part II

Dexterity

Recommended Posts

LB LaVante David (concussion) & DT Gerald McCoy (dislocated knee) are both likely out this week. Carolina is playing at home and fighting for the NFCS title while Tampa Bay is already eliminated and injury depleted. This should be another blowout. A close win doesn't mean anything more than a loss to me.

The only way I will allow myself to get my hopes up after this game is if Carolina puts up another 41-10 performance. Expecting another blowout. Regardless of the Saints troubles, holding Brees to 10 points in the dome is damn impressive. This week our defense gets Glennon or McCown. On offense we're playing against a terrible defense that's missing it's two best players. Cam should have another monster game. The last few games it looks like he is starting to finally get healthy.

Also...

GO BEARS!!!

Stop with this blowout nonsense.

The Bucs will put up a bigger fight than the Saints did.

It's not nonsense.

TB is 1-8 since week 4. The only team they've beaten in the last 10 weeks is Washington, who might be the only team in the NFC worse than them. Everybody crying how bad we've been the last 2 months, TB has been even worse.

TB just got blown out by a struggling Detroit team. Carolina beat that same Detroit team. We also beat TB in their house.

TB is traveling to a cold enviroment, they're eliminated & playing for nothing, & have tons of injuries.

Carolina is playing for the division & just ripped apart the Saints in the dome.

38-13 Panthers

if you wanna play "we beat a team that beat them" game, then what about the Steelers game? the Bucs beat the Steelers and the Steelers blew us out...

i do not trust this team enough to call any blow outs...

also while we were getting consistently blown out, the bucs were actually in their games for the most part

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
