Explain to me why Jim Harbaugh may get canned

Ok. The dude may be a nut job, but he has a proven track record of bringing instant success everywhere. There were articles this season that have been saying how he will be gone after this year. I even see Troy Aikman and Joe buck right now talking about how he is done after this year like they have some inside info. Looks like he is gone

I haven't heard any explanation that makes sense to me for why Harbaugh is gone after this year. All I get is "players don't like him", GM doesn't like him etc .... Is he that crazy to completely overlook 3 straight conference championship appearances in 3 years?

Be careful what you ask for. He is a great coach. I just don't get it.

This is Jimmy Johnson/Jerry Jones revisited in the NFL.

I left Stanford after building the program from the depths and leading Stanford to  successful Bowl games only because this opportunity presented itself.

Management/ownership is now committing suicide and the 49ers will again sink into the depths of the NFC West.

I look forward to the next challenge.

Spoiled idiots. They will regret this. We kept a coach that took us to the playoffs 3 times in 9 years. We also have coaches like Marvin Lewis that have been at their job for more than a decade and haven't done much.

In another universe, 3 straight NFC championships and you gotta go cuz you are a 'douche'. They knew his personality when they hired him. Ego tripping I tell you. Makes you question sometimes how much organizations value results.

Obviously, they have a problem with Harbaugh, for whatever reason/s. And this is why he will probably be gone.

I know others brought up other teams being more tolerant with much worse coaches. However, I kinda wish the Panthers had this attitude with their coaches.

Rivera's not the answer. We all know it. However, anytime he starts to do well, we easily forget about his utter suckage in previous games, years.

Obviously, San Fran doesn't forget, whatever they have a problem with Harbaugh.

Happens in business all the time. Piss off the owners/management and they'll find an excuse to get rid of you, regardless of how good you are at your job. Meanwhile, the totally useless employees that are buddy buddy with the boss and constantly kissing ass get to keep their job.

Niners will be horrible next year. Especially with the Rams getting better each season they should easily take over the third best team in the division leaving the 49ers as bottom dwellers.

Much like the transition from Fox to Rivera here, I think the 49ers will be rejuvenated next season as they get their injured players back and get a fresh start, but over time they will start underachieving again if the new coach is in over his head. Doesn't help that Carroll and Arians aren't going anywhere and the Rams will always have the ability to ruin playoff hopes late in the year.
