Honestly, I'm kinda fine with Rivera considering what we are working with.  His mega-star quarterback has had to deal with an awful line, a rag tag group of weapons, a self-obsessesing egomaniacal coordinator followed by a dan henning-like one, a front offense change, a ton of dead money and bad contracts and his best dlineman missing a season to a questionable situation.

I'm not... crazy about the guy, but I feel if a few more things were in our favor he'd be able to field an elite defense consistently and be able to field enough raw talent elsewhere to be successful.

 

P.S. His clock management is awful.  I'm seriously thinking he should start playing madden to get a better feel for it. (Yea, I went there).

Finding competent coaches to lead the offense and special teams might help. 

 

Fox is a much better HC now that his support staff has improved.

 

Might be able to do something similar for Ron here in Carolina.
