And you aren't being observant or looking at the facts or you would know that Stewart has over twice the carries that Williams has this year and has been fed the ball quite a bit the past few games which is also feeding the hot hand instead of letting Fozzy or Tolbert get more carries.

in fariness, in games Williams has suited up for and finished....Stewart has never had more carries than 34 this season.

So yes, Stewart has more carries but only bc of missed games

When they are together....and that has been sporadic. Staff has been consistent with usage

A lot of overreactions but there's a few points if we actually play him:

...andIt's not even the fact that Williams is the one coming back.

It's a 31 y/o that is coming back to a running game that has gotten going (league best past 4 weeks) with 4 guys in the mix: Stewart, Tolbert, Fozzy, & Cam and we've finally got them gelling with an in-place o-line.

It makes no sense to add in a 5th guy who will clutter the picture and it could cause a complete change in momentum to our running game.  D'lo hasn't been playing behind this line that has coalesced, isn't used to their in game tendencies so it's likely he won't be as good in anticipating where their holes come from.

DWill practicing has everyone here noticing it.................could it be the Atlanta staff will have to do the same?................not a bad tactic..

Dwill still have real value in the open field........just keep him out of the up the middle trap plays..........

Zero 20+ yards this year.

Stew has 3.

Tired of hearing about his open field ability. More Fozzy please.

This is a pretty great example of an over reaction thread.

It is either that

Or

Pointing out the painfully obvious flaws of a certain someone about to go down

But I'm fine win either interpretation. Hopefully the first is more accurate

Fozzy looks more useful. More explosive plus has a little break tackle ability. Williams gets guilt/obligated reps it seems....bc the eye ball test has been glaring this year

Gettlemen might have been right. But Ron can't figure it out....or it takes painfully too long. OL, DB, etc.

Fair enough.

me thinks ya don't know the definition of diva.

Before the season began he dedicated his performance this season to his late mother. You would think with that element added to it, he would at least be somewhat motivated. But he's played in only 6 games over a high ankle sprain, a minor hamstring issue, and now a broken hand (in which he told Rivera last week "he didn't feel comfortable"). He has gained 219 yards this season. Zero touchdowns. He's earning $5 million to more or less not show any heart, and ignore the media. If everyone else wants to slurp him bc of his involvement for breast cancer (which is great, i'm not denying that), that's fine. But i've seen what he's become, and he's not what many think he is.  He's a soft, unmotivated, self-absorbed person that won't interact with fans and gives the media the Marshawn treatment, with a fifth of the production. I'd much rather eat his cap hit and move forward without him.

Ok. Stop. Just stop, all of you.

I know, logic has no place in here but ..........

DeAngelo broke his hand just a few weeks ago. Broke his hand. How can you measure if he's healed enough to play? How??!! By letting him play as close to game play as possible. Which is during practice. Practice. Coaches need to know before Sunday if he could play or not, at what level he'd be, should he be active or not.

You're all derps. Using any occasion that you can, it seems, to bash a Carolina Panther player. It's uncalled for. You're not just complaining about his play, you're slamming his character as well. He wears Panther blue & black on Sundays, he bleeds Panther blue as far as I'm concerned.

And if there's any DeAngelo gossip that "All Pro" huddlers have been told, then tell the rest of us. Because otherwise it's just bowling balls under the table and doesn't count for crap.
