Do not kick to Devon Hester. If special teams blows a winnable game, my head will explode. I do not trust them to contain anyone at this point. Let them go the field instead of the quick score. Hester my not be the best anymore, but he is still good enough to blow this squad up.

Atlanta's advantage in this game starts with special teams. (Actually, it starts with home field, then special teams.) Carolina has the worst special teams in the league this year according to FO ratings. The worst part of the unit, by far, is punting. It's not just the two blocked punts by Minnesota; the Panthers have also allowed 17 returns of over 10 yards, more than any team except Oakland. The Falcons have two strengths on special teams this year. One is field goals, where Matt Bryant has been excellent and ranks third in the league. The other is some dude named Devin Hester. Perhaps you have heard of him? He returns punts. Brad Nortman may have had his best game of the year in Week 11, keeping Hester from making a return with four punts that were downed and two that Hester fair caught. It's going to be hard to keep Hester from any returns a second time.

    • I only used it because it’s being said he can’t.  I’ve said this 100 times already but these deep passes people get obsessed with are much more on the WR than the QB. If Burrow throws a bomb to Chase and he is either wide open or makes a catch in tight coverage those both are more WR plays than QB to me.  Bryce has shown many flaws but I don’t think throwing the ball 20 yards to a player in coverage is something he or any NFL QB can’t do. He just gets sloppy under pressure and tries some Mahomes type backfoot throws that do require elite arm strength in which he does not have.
    • Again with the straw man arguments. You have Trump level of delusions about this subject.  Here, let me do you in this case.... I don't know if AT fuged your girl or your wife or whatever but your level of hatred towards a guy not even on the team is insane. I can't believe you keep hate watching all these Vikings games as a result. It's crazy behavior but, by all means, you do you.   Now...see how nutty that sounds? Go read this thread and see how emotional you are over something no one in this thread is talking about emotionally.
