I don't know anymore man. If I say keep him we'll end up going 8-8 after a 1-7 start & miss the playoffs. If I say fire his ass we'll go 15-1 to a third consecutive playoff appearance & 1st Conference Championship game. *Sigh*

I will just enjoy the moment.

Bill Belichick was 31-33 through his first 4 years as head coach; 0 division titles.  Ron Rivera is 32-31-1 with 2 division titles.  Belichick really didn't start having sustained success in the NFL as head coach until Brady came along.  Belichick had one winning season until Brady was his starting QB.  Not everything hinges on a QB, but it helps a ton if you've got a good one. 

 

So there you have it.  Rivera is the next Belichick.

The team just now got healthy. They have been resilant. Everyone thinks the easy answer is fire the coach. This is not Madden. I still don't want to keep Shula though.

Though i think you have a good point... something must be said for the guy who has taken this team to the playoffs for two consecutive seasons for the first time. 

 

I also think this team was cheated last year against SF... but that is an argument for a different time. 

 

This season had some low points, but Ron still prevailed, even after having to lose his best player and take the heat for the owner over the decision to do so. 

 

I like our chances right now too.

 

He definitely won't be fired, and probably "shouldn't be," but I still want him fired because his shtick is obvious, lol.

Even if you can't hear the point, you can still see it. Barring a SB victory, Ron still needs to go.
