Playoff ticket advice

As some of you know, I am from Tennessee. I am planning to make a weekend trip to the 704 for the game.

 

Would it be better to buy the tickets for the game now, or will prices be less when the actual time and day of the game comes out?

Last year, prices went down as the game got closer.

I just bought on ticketmaster...only thing left is single seats...i paid $62 total for section 503

FYI - there are non-single Club level tickets still available on Ticketmaster.  Pricey at $250 or more a pop though...

Most of the stub hub tickets I saw were uppers for around 150.  I would not wait until game time to scalp a ticket unless you know it is going to rain and the crowd will be down.  I wouldn't drive from Tennessee unless I had a ticket in hand but that is just me.

Shoot, last years playoff was awesome weather and there were tons tickets available on the street and lots of empty seats in the stadium.  Forecast is crappy for Saturday so I can assure you there will be plenty of tickets available. Just don't buy the first pair you find...deal with these people and get it under face.

I wouldn't come all the way to town and then have to worry about getting tickets. When I arrive all I would be wanting to do is have a good time and get ready for the game. But that's just me...

My neighbor just bought two right behind me for face at the above link. Plenty of tickets left. Majority of Panther fans blow so the diehards should have plenty to choose from.

Yeah if you can't find anything for face value now, I would buy from someone outside the stadium.

Same here.. That site has service fees of like 40 bucks to buy tickets.

I will be traveling 4 hours to make the trip.  What are the chances of this?
