Wat Cardinal fans are saying

I have nothing against Cardinals fans. There doesn't seem to be many of them and I haven't come across many that are annoying. Plus they have Buck who I'm still friends with on Facebook somehow.

 

All that said, I hope we beat them by a lot. I can't even begin to describe what that Jake Delhomme pickfest playoff game did to this organization and us fans. Gotta wash that stink off.

 

How do you break my mind?  One phrase:  "First and Jake Delhomme!"

Even with their injuries they certainly can bring it. Arians is easily one of the better coaches in the league.

The only thing I'm worried about is that he will test our oline, full of new guys and an epass toll booth. We all know that's where it starts and finishes with this team at this juncture.

Our D is on point. Cam is dialed in. Momentum is building and our offensive line has been a big part of it..

We have the leagues best d's lining up to play us if we win this game. This will be a great test to see what we are really made of.

Yeah that worries me as well.

 

 

Their defense scoring, be it by returning a fumble for a TD or setting up their offense in Panther territory, is my biggest concern.  That and of course special teams. I still have nightmares from Cam's first game where Peterson returned the punt for a TD.

 

yea. they may have had a rough stretch on defense these past several weeks, but they have game-changing type players on that D.

 

Peterson scares the poo out of me on both defense and special teams.

 

we need to put points up on defense also with these scrub qbs they have.

That second to last guy was amazing posting all that from his mental institution's WiFi.

Only thing about the Cards that concerns me is the defense. Our WRs will have a tough job getting open on Peterson and Cromartie. So aside from the occasional shot down field to KB(hopefully he doesn't drop it) and Philly out of the slot, the WRs will be out of it. I'd look for favorable matches - any of our TEs should own their defender, and if we can get the run game going like we have been, the offense should be able to do what they've done these last four games (hopefully more of what they did against the Saints and Falcons).

Cam needs to come out and put up 7 on the opening drive. I don't know the statistics, but it seems that when we go down the field and score and Cam can punch it in and do a little Superman Shimmy, he seems to be feeling himself the rest of the game and really shines. We go three and out and he gets sacked twice, he gets pissed.

Cards will be aggressive on both sides of the ball. Kicking game will big. Especially Nortman. Make the Cards start in the shadow of their end zone. Pressure their qb and we protect the ball and we advance.

Their biggest advantage is on the sideline. Their strategy should be keep it ugly and close with their defense and let Ron screw it up for us in the 4th. Losing at home to a team with no QB would be a huge shame but if anyone is up to the challenge it's Ron.

Riverboat Ron will absolutely need to be active for this game, we have to be aggressive. Field goals are not going to cut it.

 

Bruce Arians is not at all afraid to be aggressive.
