Panthers = Smoke and Mirrors

They sound like a nervous fan base who's trying to convince themselves that this will be an easy and guaranteed win. I like it. The Panthers just might be able to steal this game. I hope that Seattle doesn't take us seriously if they are indeed the next match up.

So out of about 20 posts or so, there is one logical post. Hats off to this guy who says:

" Why is there such a need to poo all over the Panthers or any other team? I respect the hell out of what the Panthers did. Needing to win two straight road division games is nothing to sneeze at. They play pretty much identical to Seattle, just differently.

Does that mean they beat Seattle? No. No it does not. But, IMO, they are the 2nd hottest team entering the playoffs.

Ya'll sound like HS girls that call the new hot girl "a slut" for no reason. That's literally what you guys remind me of."

They have become an arrogant fan base. They will be humbled eventually. I pray that we are the ones who do it.

With the way we've been playing as of late, I would actually be thinking Super Bowl right now if not for just two things: Byron Bell and the special teams. You CANNOT win a Lombardi Trophy in this league with Byron Bell as your left tackle and with special teams and god-awful as we have. When we lose (and we WILL lose either next week or in the NFC CG or Super Bowl) that's the reason why. That seems relatively easy to correct in one offseason though which makes me incredibly optimistic for the 2015 season.

I agree those are my two biggest worries too.

So sayeth the Seahawks fans.... Thats the title of the thread.

http://www.seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=104732

Strange coming from a team that has barely squeaked out a win against us three seasons running.

lol, nope. Would MUCH rather play in Seattle than Green Bay. Good shot at beating Seattle... Green Bay in January, not so much.

The Seahawks are not the same team as last year. They are very beatable and will be expecting the same defense they played here in Charlotte months ago. shhhhhhh.... don't let them know.

Yeah, solid defense and pounding the ball is "smoke and mirrors".

Catch a clue.

They didn't even notice Minn didn't score 31 points on our D......uninformed.

You guys are still a 7-8-1 team. Not trying to talk smack, but objectively you guys haven't really done anything to be respected by other fans. You beat the Saints(terrible team), Browns(Mediocre), Falcons(terrible team) and the Cardinals(they have no QB) on your run.

Why are you so surprised that opposing fans and media don't think you're all that?
